Are crush counters v reversals ? If not how do
You crush counter ?

Crush Counters are just very specific normals that each character has that get enhanced on-hit properties whenever they land as counterhits. You'll have to look up what your character's CC is specifically since it is different for each one. For example Bison's CC is his c.HK slide, and if you land that as a counterhit they get popped up into the air and can be juggled into super instead of just the knockdown.
 
I wanna complain about the lag but...well I'm basically lying and pretending I'm asian, I feel like I shouldn't say a thing about it and I should have known the risks.
 
Had so much fun yesterday. Won a lot with bison, lost a lot with birdie.

I really like the big guy, but command grabs are sfxtekken slow so I couldn't get out of pressure.
But he has a few insane buttons. His cr lp and standing hp just wreck people.

My bnb was really simple: cr lp, lp xx headbutt (super when available)
 
I just got beat out by a Bison just cause he kept jumping all over. I'm tired, going to bed. good luck to the rest of you world warriors.
 
Dumb chun stuff.

after combo ending in LK sbk (usually the max punish combos) and they normal recover:

-vskill for crossup hit that lands in front
-kara vskill for crossup hit that lands behind.
 
That damn Pacific Ocean, why it gotta be so much bigger than the Atlantic? Just completely ruining our matches against Japan and the rest of Asia.
 
Impossible for me to play this asian stress test, always "unable to connect game server message"

No really a problem, I already play near 14h the last 2 days. I think the beta is ready for now, just need Ken and Necalli for the official first test. I don't think they do a US stress test, if they do one, they annonce at the same time...

Cammy is pretty fun and a good offensive character. Nash is great but need skill and Ryu classic but so so good, perfect character to learn how the game work.

For the moment, for me SFV is a really great game, I really love it! I just need to test Ken, seems to be the perfect run shoto character.
 
Any hints that, once the Beta officially starts, they are gonna expand the roster (Necali and Ken would be next in line)?. Or can we expect the 6 characters we already got?
 
I played a lot yesterday. When in V-Trigger Bison can chain his EX attacks after a special without charging, for example: j.HP, cr.MP xx LK.SK xx EX.Psycho Inferno xx EX.Head stomp

Need to see if the Super does more damage, but for two bars the damage was pretty crazy.
 
Everyone was Bison. Refreshing change from EU test where everyone was Ryu :P

Just had a match where the lag was so bad that the screen would freeze in 2 second periods.....

j.HP, s.HK, c.MP, Knee Press L, VEX Psycho Blast, VEX Psycho Inferno, VEX Head Stomp does 499, and is max possible damage that has been found.
 
Nothing special but I recorded a match I had with another Ryu mirror. Neither of us are that good, but I enjoyed it because we both had a decent understanding of the character and I felt we were at least trying to use most of his repertoire even though we failed a lot(especially me).

Still hard to cut out some of the SF4 habits though. But I was able to land a few gimmicks like the air tatsu to get him to whiff a throw.
 
yeah but no game should let you be able to get a full stun gauge no matter the cost.

Why not? Super Turbo (a game that many people still believe to be the best SF game of all time) has one-touch, meterless dizzies. People STILLL play the game religiously to this day, more than 2 decades later.
