Street Fighter V ESRB: Female characters' breasts jiggle during character selection

latest

Soon
I really want this to be his V-Trigger. He fights with his suit on, but then breaks his suit off and goes all powered up.

Not lying can't wait to see some Mika Cosplay!~~

I am looking forward to it to, but until then.

I think the main issue being that, yes, there is a distinction between games made by men and women's tastes in many instances.

But considering that this is indeed a game made by males, i'd say they have actually done a decent job trying to keep the characters as they are without being as insane and possibly offensive as they could have been about it. I mean, i've seen some shit myself.

I'd have to reckon that considering that the criticism still exists, their best could use some improvement. Without naming names, I have several male friends who do character designs, and they are super conscious about this kind of thing. It is not unreasonable to ask that the Street Fighter artists show some consciousness too.

Maaaan alot of gaffers would indeed hate me if i made games lol. My female lead would be incredibly sexy. Talking skin tight suit with heels with a big ass sword riding a mechanical bull and a lollipop in her mouth(as i type this my fiancé yes she'll play it lmao)

Cammy cosplayers don't seem to mind :P

Nothing wrong with sexy. SF has plenty of "cool" females and different types

Going by sf5's roster.

Chun-li = cool/beautiful
R.Mika = Dorky/Over the top
Cammy = Cool/Sexy
Karin = Elegant / Snarky / Disciplined
Laura = Sexy / Cool
Would you consider Juri to be crazy sexy cool?

1. Allow me to repeat myself:

you can't compare "Ryu not wearing a shirt" to "Cammy consistently posing in such a way to give the butt/breast shot". Besides being sexy, can you tell me the value of Cammy's pose? Because I can explain shirtless Ryu's value for a good while without having to once mention physical appeal.

2. Well, if all the women you talk to say that, it must be true. :V No, I'm gonna imagine that there are plenty of women (and men) who want to see Ryu in an explicitly sexual outfit.

3. Karin being downgraded doesn't get rid of the problem, it just reduces it. The actual reduction should be accomplished by creating a proper balance between character sexuality.
But there are like three pictures of shirtless male characters on the internet, so there's not a major imbalance in the sexualization of female vs male characters.

To be fair, the alleged P2 glitch wasn't that there was breast jiggle. It was that there was an extravagant amount of breast jiggle with physics all out of whack . They could tone it down slightly and the ESRB description would still fit.

P1's side barely had any breast jiggle though so I was under the impression the glitch was P2's side having breast jiggle.

Female characters' breasts sometimes jiggle during character selection.

I'm thinking it was a glitch but players liked it so much they decided to leave it in.

In Street Fighter, Tekken, Doa, etc.. There are a lot of male character that girls finds attractive. Of course male character and female character have different ways to show how cool they are. No need to be offended.

Oh please. People want to talk about this kind of thing yet still want to defer to "power fantasy" when its not their specific brand of sensitivity.

Like atleast give me some specifics about what women want in general to make things more equal

You can't stop critisism about something, someone is always going to be critical regardless of how tiptoe developers are, people are going to be critical BECAUSE devs tiptoe specifically. I don't think that's a logical framework for a conversation about this sort of thing.

Breasts jiggle on P1's side, it's just not age 99 amounts of jiggle.

That Mika gif in the opening looks fairly normal jiggle. Though that Chun-Li one that was posted is that bug which is obviously over the top jiggle.

The animations in this game are beautiful.

There are so many things, animation wise in this one gif that someone will point out one day. All of them are pretty cool, I guess.

This thread is amusing. I guess I missed all the talks about the glitched breasts on the character selection screen. They definitely look like some age 99 type material. It looks painful! Lol.

Several female characters are depicted in low-cut, form-fitting outfits that display large amounts of cleavage and/or buttocks. Female characters' breasts sometimes jiggle during character selection.
Seeing it phrased in such a neutral, formal way somehow makes it even more embarrassing. >_>

Well I already listed several examples of something women could want, and apparently women DON'T want these things because one person's female friends don't want them.

Seriously, erasure has not been brought up (by me) once. All I've brought up is "why is sexy a female thing?"

People can talk about exposed muscles all day long, but there is a value to that that goes well beyond physical appeal that Cammy and C. Viper don't really contribute.

It's an obvious ploy by capcom, they left the glitch in and amped up the t&a so the game wouldn't get an E10 rating. People aren't offended by violence and alcohol anymore.
