Such a monumental waste of a slot Dan is. I don't care too much for Oro either, but I can actually understand his inclusion story-wise. Dan is just a waste and the game's already loaded with shotos as-is.

Overall the announcement was "average". This content is well off into the future and pretty much cements no SF6 until 2023. Still curious who the last character will be but it'd better be a girl and it'd better not be Makoto (aka just bring back Elena ♥)

My opinion regarding the conference:

• Love the new characters (with Dan as exception, they wasted a slot)
• Love to see more Rival Schools content, and to integrate it deeper with the SF lore
• Nice to see a roadmap where they announcing all the upcoming content
• Love to see Rose and Akira will have related stages
• Love to see we'll get this year a CPT 2021 Stage and next year a SFV CPT 2022 stage confirming SFV CPT 2022 season
• Nice to see the devs there showing content and explaining why they took their decisions

I just want all the dolls to be either playable or in a mode where I can fight them. Same thing with the shadow versions, I want to be able to freely fight them.

I will buy the dlc as I own everything else but the majority of the dolls are done and they look cool in the story.

A second story would be great too

You can play the dolls in the main story mode, just start playing in the chapter/episode where they appear.

Dan is a wasted character slot to me.
Rose is a little traditionally a little boring game play wise, but a Brutalace mod could make her visually interesting.
Akira is ok I guess. Again, she could be fun with a good mod. I'd have preferred Tiffany from Rivalschools.
Oro is a character I like. I'll buy him.

Really disappointed that neither Elena or Viper made the cut.

That 'rumor' doesn't make any sense, like the assumption that SFVI was going to be released next year because one out of the a lot of CPT/Capcom Cup 2020 rules they changed lead to think that.

Capcom said last year:
-They plan to keep supporting SFV for a while, about the same time they supported SFIV series (~7 years)
-They won't start SFVI until they are done developing SFV stuff
-They want to see the first next gen games in the market to see what next gen can offer to the fighting games and design the next SF (VI) around it
-They won't be able to start working on SFVI at all if lucky this or next year
-They are aware of the issues they experienced with SFV launch and don't want to repeat them, so won't rush SFVI launch
-And they didn't mentioned it, but once they start to develop a game they need 2 or 3 years to release it, so don't expect SFVI release until 2023 or so

They also mentioned that initally they planned to have a softer season V, but due to the big player support of season 4 and specially SFVCE, they decided to put more resources and content into season V.

Just sayin.

What Dusk Golem say doesn't make sense at all, he's lying in multiple topics. Basically everything he says on these tweets:

• Ono hasn't been demoted this year and wasn't demoted 2 years ago when merged his division with the MH one
• SFVI still didn't start production (that should start 'if lucky' late this year or next year accoding to what Capcom said last year before covid)
• SFVI never was planned to be released next year (for what Capcom said multiple times last year they are aiming 2023 or so before covid)
• Ono is an executive producer and not a director (the director is another guy)
• There is no female director/producer/executive in Capcom so there no female who could have replaced him
