Balderdash. Guys are neurotic about their height as it is without more of these articles feeding into those insecurities. Just be proficient at back rubs, gentlemen. And cooking.

I mostly agree, but you can't deny that there is a bit of a disadvantage.

At least you guys don't live in the land of giants. At 5' 11" I am 2 inches taller than other people from my ethnic group but still lower than the national average.

Women do seem fixated on the height thing. When flirting it's almost always mentioned, more-so than anything else.

Shorter guys who have a little swag and take care of themselves do fine from what I've seen, maybe it's more of a handicap in the online space.

I'm seeing someone who's 6'1 and she has never been with anyone shorter than her. So even being that tall it's still important to her, kind of a shocker for me!

Are you shorter than her? Because let me tell you something if you are. The shower sex is great when the chick is taller.

I'm 5'6" and I only date women 6'2" and up.

are people really that simple that a study can sum it all up

makes me sad T____T

People are actually animals, regardless of how we want to dress it up. At the end of the day, only 2 things matter: survive another day (hopefully well) and get some of dat ass. Everything we know, love, and hate is derived from these 2 primordial drives.

Interesting. Now i just need to know the correlation between happy marriages and big boobs, and i'll have all the information i need before entering marriage.

Oh trust me. She's happy!!

Not thanks to you!!

I'm 6'3"

Hm well the relationship I've been in the longest is with a tall and handsome guy so I guess we'll be 2gether 4ever

Honestly this sounds pretty unscientific, what was their hypothesis? If there's data suggesting something like this there's most certainly more to it than what they made it out to be.

Oh wow. Some of those are really horrible...

I've got an issue with short guys, if your 5'8 or less please kill yourself!!

Cute short guys are a waste of sperm.

Eesh....

As a dude, I never put much thought into the whole short/tall thing, especially because I'd say I'm average height at 183cm. But I feel bad for the way some women view shorter men...

You can always just call those women ugly, fat, etc. and see how they take it lmao. Wouldn't be surprising if they're very fickle.

Heard somewhere that the ideal height difference is 12cm.
rule of thumb for mnemonic purposes should be penis length + female height = (roughly) male height?

doesn't quite work out of course, since male GAF members are proven to have larger than average penises

Makes it sound like guys should compensate for their lack of height, by doing these things, lol.

It's just correlation. Go read the actual article, it's a complete load. They don't even attempt to find a causative link, just "Evolution lol."

Not surprising.

I actually remember my sophomore high school psychology class where we watched some John Stossel program where they did an experiment about this. Not the most scientific thing but fascinating.

Basically they put guys of varying height and a shorter guy behind two way glass and asked a bunch of woman to select who they prefer. They all picked the guy taller then they were.

Then they even replaced the tall guy with a less attractive tall guy, a much more attractive short guy and even started telling the woman the tall guy didn't have much going for him and the short guy was rich, successful, had an amazing life. All to no avail. They still picked the taller guy. To make it worse the woman basically said it would take them saying the taller guys were murders to change their mind.

I remember seeing this too, it's pretty shocking. I'm a tall guy so I never faced heightism, but I do see it around constantly. And I'm guilty of it from time to time.
