This isn't really mishearing anything. I'm hearing it perfectly. It's just my brain is putting a comma somewhere that a comma doesn't need to go.

I heard it that way when I was young. I can easily hear how he says "More human than human" now but I still initially hear it as scatting for what ever reason lol.
I can barely understand what she is singing in the whole song.

There is a vocal imitation of a phone ringing in the Neptunes Remix of Backstreet Boys - The Call On every fourth beat. It totally over powers the song and I laugh my ass off every time. It ruined the normal version too because I am always expecting it.

Wesley's Theory on To Pimp a Butterfly has this one part that has a couple seconds of beeping in the background. That beeping sounds exactly like my car's backup/side sensor warning beep. So whenever it happens I freak out for a second thinking someone is about to hit me.
