I don't know. We found out that AIM created the Mapmakers. Maybe Strange is the one that founds the Black Priests and there are bigger matters to worry about than Namor.

To be accurate, AIM created some mapmakers. The idea was more than with an infinite number of universes, there will always be adaptoids thrown into the void between universes and they'll evolve into Mapmakers. It doesn't have to always be specifically AIM.
I could totally see the black priests being fallen Sorcerers Supreme from lost Earths. And Ebony Kings could be surviving and broken Illuminati or Cabal members.
I think in the long run, as long as the cycle endures, the idea is that the "wheel" either transforms heroes into its instruments of it destroys them.

I'm losing track of the comics that add to the Incursion event (I was reading New Avengers and at the end of it Thanos is now free... which I missed). Does anyone know which ones they are?
EDIT: Never mind, I've got it. Why are there so many damn Avengers books...
Am I understanding correctly that Hank Pym, Captain Britain, and Amadeus Cho are now part of the Illuminati after the time jump? Also wow at that last page of Avengers 35.
Also starting to think we need a thread just for Hickman's New/Avengers books. I'd do it but I don't really know the rules about creating an OT.
