Yeah there's so much wrong. I mean No More Heroes 2 dosen't have a non-motion controls option.MYE said:There is so much wrong in this i dont even...

Fair enough. That dosent strike me as fun in my opoinion. It's more of a nausence.Ushojax said:Miming slashing is fun. That's it. Nobody thinks it's incredibly accurate or some revelatory design. In a game as over the top as NMH I find it a lot more entertaining to slash the Wii Remote around than I do to press a button.

Should have waited for the US/EU release. It's fixed and has added content.randomwab said:Damn, this thread just cost me monies 'cause I ordered NMH on PS3. Can't wait to replay.
Ushojax said:Oh, you dun goof'd. One of the worst ports of all time and pure agony to play.

Or does moving your hand up and down with little enthuasim count as good to you?
Um who are you to say no one cared about that option? Just because you didn't like it dosent mean it wasn't used.MYE said:And no-one gave a shit about that control option.
I love it when people try to spin things like this. Adding "with little enthusiasm" is some teleshopping-grade shit right there.
Rahxephon91 said:And Im not sure who's spining anything. "With little enthuisim" perfectly describes my exsperince with the motion controls..

Anywho it's obvious you don't have much to say, so I'll just stop talking to you.
I dunno.Dascu said:Surprised so many people like NMH1 better than the sequel. Nostalgia or something? They definitely half-assed some areas in NMH2, but they half-assed a lot more in the first game.
I suppose you mean Ryuuji? The pointless bike ride was actually to Captain Vladimir, which is one of my favourite fights in the series. Ryuuji didn't have an actual level, just that crummy bike duel. His actual fight ("COME OUT DRAGON") was pretty cool. Pretty much what the fight against DarkStar would've been like.ShockingAlberto said:I dunno.
I can accept the game was okay, but even while playing it, I was bored to tears. It just didn't have the same kind of feel that I liked about the original game. It felt like a straight-to-DVD sequel.
I think it became too obvious that they were doing things intentionally to throw off the player, whereas NMH came by those same moments naturally. In NMH, situations like fighting Letz Shake didn't feel like they were created simply to say "Hey, isn't this game weird!" In 2, however, an empty and pointless bike ride to a boss fight (which is generally agreed to be terrible, too) felt like the designers were saying "No More Heroes did weird stuff like this, so I guess we better, as well."
