Aigis hates the director, Masaaki Yuasa, so he altered his name to an insult suitable to his maturity level.
That was duckroll, not me. Or at least I think so. I can't remember. Not that anything related to Eww-asa is worth remembering anyways.

Took me 2 hours and a half, but managed to read through the last 4 pages of the previous thread and the 11 pages of this one!

I remember skipping on Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 because I wasn't too interested in watching a show about a earthquake when it aired. Still, I maintained I'd check it out one day, and finally started watching it now.
The first episode was actually interesting. The sister felt a bit too angsty overall, but it seemed to fit. I just hope the little brother
didn't die during the earthquake!

500 points since I went to bed.

You guys are machines.

Les Misérables: Shōjo Cosette - Episode 1

Sad things are sad... but I am not a fan of the non-typical World Theater Masterpiece drawing style.

Lambo avy, awesome...speaking of which I did just finish Reborn episodes 9-11. I hope the episodes that arent simple comedy one shots quickly appear soon.

They begin a bit before episode 20 if I remember correctly.

You do know that when you're a junior member all bans are permanent, right? Just checking.

:(

But in all seriousness, Yumekui Merry and Penguindrum both bored me after 2-3 episodes. The only anime this season that I've enjoyed is Usagi Drop. And maybe Ikoku Meiro no Croisée.

Is that a manga? For some reason it sounds really familiar or maybe its plot does.

What the hell, going to sleep, waking up to a closed anime-thread. And then the new one´s got already 11 pages. Where´s the penguins!

Damn it I missed being the 20,000th post of the last thread. I will not let that happen again, this time it shall be mine. Also who's the new guy?

EDIT: As soon as I post I9 starts with tiff again. That is not a good sign.

What's this? What amazing loli bullet dodging have I missed?

It's a shop; there are no bullets in the original version. If you're wondering what the original version is, I don't remember the exact number, but it's Tadashi Hiramatsu's episode of Sister Princess.

Oh god that show was so bad even I hated it.

This thread is going too fast

She is though. Azusa's intelligence level is at best on the level of a bovine. See episode 8 for further information.
Who's looking to have an intelligent discussion?

I feel like this every day and I read this at work and off-and-on at home. How the fuck do you people keep up with this topic :|
You don't. You just assume everything posted that you haven't read is about anime you don't care about.

Today I learned that a significant segment of AnimeGAF hates good food and also life itself.
Some of them like American cheese!!! WTF

It's pointless to explain something like this to someone like Brandy who is 100% certain of his belief that only his opinions are the correct ones and everyone who disagrees with him is wrong. People like him are philosophically similar to Osama bin Laden, only his beliefs are correct and everyone else should convert or die.
I am only on page 3 Unknown, save up some ammunition

I don't think anyone is disputing that.

What fun is that?
I would rather hear impressions from classy anime like School Days, Code Geass, and Utena.
Something doesn't fit in there
Izayoi said:
Why does everyone hate Iori? ;_;
What is not to hate about her? She is a self centered rich girl who is only there because of her dad. She is also an attention whore
But I guess they all are

How can you enjoy Croisee, then say other shows bore you. Croisee is good, but it's so slow.

I'll dispute it.
K-ON got the better art, animation, plot and characters. Those ugly ponies are only good to make sandwiches out of them.

See, if I hadn't have gone and read everything I missed then I wouldn't have seen this. Well, maybe.

Aw, if only you've seen Ano Hana already. I wanted to [/img] this too (massive spoilers).

Well, I'll keep that in mind for whenever I get around to Ano Hana then.

Since someone mentioned it in this thread, he also directed True Tears. I don't know what True Tears is.

Lots and lots of angst, basically.

Fucking bravo

Excellent touching episode with
romance in an anime that didn’t make me wanna throw up, unreal something like that shouldn’t exist yet it does.
The dialogue is written so well it’s too good for anime(who ever did it, needs a raise).
The Source material is so brilliant, that I would think no studio would ever be able to handle something so complex, but thanks to studio White fox who aren’t really a stand out studio but its takes a lot balls to take on such a challenge, where a lot studios of today would go for easy to do sure sellers.

Bloody hell, if Penguindrum and Usagi Drop are bad to meh shows, I'd love to know what a decent to great show is.

Well this is one of them Steroyd

Mayo Chiki 08: Haha, wow, this episode.

Oddly enough it got me thinking about some kind of dating sim game where all the dates were actually fights. You'd have fights at your typical dating sim event spots, like watching fireworks, beach visits, going shopping, etc...

but 2011 was a bad year or?
2011 isn't finished yet, but we already had some good shows in the past months, so this year has been good (entertaining) so far...
And between Nichijou, Penguindrum and YuruYuri it certainly looks like it has been the craziest year in recent memory.

Unless you mean something else...

Mardock Scramble: The First Compression

Interesting characters mixed with awful dialogue. Pretty scenery and beautiful animation mixed with godfuckingawful CG. What a clusterfuck.

Also Norio Wakamoto.
