Does Hulu still have an exclusive on noitaminia? I don't think they did any of the spring block...

Yeah, I just took a look and I'm not seeing anything recent. That's pretty disappointing. I wonder if it's more funi or hulu that's in the wrong though.

Am I really the only one remotely interested in Usagi Drop? Or is everyone just burned out on NoitaminA stuff? =\

Just based on source material it will no doubt be one of the best shows this season, but I've already read the manga so I'm not particularly hyped for it.

C is on hulu. I think the only show they missed is Anohana.

Christ dude you might as well be watching the whole season. Not that its a bad thing but are you really interested in all of those shows?

I'll be there to try it, but I expect it to be sappy as hell so my expectations are appropriately tempered.

I don't really like Hulu anyways, so it's not the greatest loss. Painful amount of ads (Ad before start, OP you don't want to watch, ad again before show starts), loads poorly, subs are difficult to read if you aren't watching on a TV, etc.

Awesome. Yeah, looking back I noticed a few people expressing interest but then a whole bunch of lists without any mention. =(

Still anxiously awaiting new Black Lagoon: Robert's Blood Trail. Part of that anticipation is lessened by a prediction of ridiculous shit by Roberta in the final episode though. =\

Will probably only watch Natsume. I'm dropping Ohana. I like the series somewhat, but some of the characters annoy the hell out of me. Maybe if they all died and Ohana was the only one left. I'll miss you boo. <3

That's smart. Anything that promotes anime making it over here in a timely, official, manner is alright in my book.

[C] was on Hulu. They had the foresight to skip Ano Hana.

Heh, that foresight should have just told them to skip the whole block then.

e: It's under "C-Control." No wonder I couldn't find it. I always figured 'C' would be to wide of a search so I'd search, "The money of etc etc"

I'm definitely in. I love stuff like this plus I'm a big Aishiteruze Baby fan and this is most likely better!

I'll be watching the fuck out of Usagi drop.

NicoNico? In English? What has the world come to.

They should've skipped both.

This is the major reason I'm looking into this. I really enjoyed Aishiteruze Baby (wish it could have actually finished the story).

Not quite sure why stories of this nature intrigue me so much.

Its the inner pedo father in you crying out to be let free!

Btw, congrats on becoming a member Dynedom.

Only thing that has me interested is Penguindrum

So hyped for it

Besides I still have shows like Ano Hi Mita, Steins;Gate, and Ao no Exorcist. Though I am thinking of dropping Exorcist unless it turns really great soon.

Yeah I've held off moving further in the BL manga until Blood Trail ends, should be cool. I'm not really bothered that Roberta has been over the top, its not too much different from the crazy shit the she pulled off the last time she was on the show.

Guess I might as well do one of these, too.

Will check out:

Mawaru Penguindrum because it's Ikuhara, man!
Im@s to see what all the fuzz is about.
Xenoglossia will end up being the better show.
Usagi Drop because it's like Aishiteruze with a budget and I do love me some bad parenting.
Blood-C because lol CLAMP. But who knows, could be good.
It won't.
No. 6 because I know that, deep down, Bones still loves me.
Mayo Chiki just to please Dresden, really.
Croisee because DrForester is a man of class and if he's in then I might as well check it out.
Baka Test 2 since it has my waifu in it and the first season provided a few laughs.
Dantalian because it can't possibly be worse than Gosick... right?
Sacred Seven for my Sunrise fix and because T&B has been disappointingly competent in this regard.
Ninja Tits because I am part of the problem.

I'll also check out Appleseed XIII if that ever sees the light of day if only because I really liked Jinni's work on Fireball Charming but I'm not really expecting much from it.

I still haven't decided what my Hidan no Aria of this season is going to be. I'm leaning towards Itsuka Tenma no Kuro-Usagi since it looks positively dreadful.

How many of those I actually end up following is anyone's guess.

Wouldn't IM@S win in-universe due to sheer numbers? There's like 10 or 11 idols vs. only 5 girls in HTT.

You forgot about their classmates, huh

Would've appreciated if the OP had any sort of plot synopsis for the shows instead of reasons why Lafiel thinks people should watch/avoid each show.

Well I have no idea what shows if any Crunchyroll is getting this season, but Deadman Wonderland ends this week and I thought, "I'll ask GAF." Which show should I put in a request for to translate? What do you all think is gonna be good? Mawaru Penguindrum is the one that caught my eye (and I think it's supposed to be "Penguindulum")
Bunny Drop.

Aw, thanks for asking. Then I'll request Penguin Drum and Natsume Yuujin Chou San.
You can balance that out by translating Mayo Chiki while you're at it.

icarus-daedelus said:
That one will take a LOT of convincing and you're not even close yet, Lafieru~
Hey, we're friends, right icarus? Let's make a pact that involves you watching some idols...

Natsume for me. Maybe Croisée and I’ll at least check out Dantalian.

Of course I say I’ll watch every season, then get too busy and drop it all. I’m way behind on Tiger and Bunny as it is...

Depends. The only shows which I could see being as bad as Spring's worse are R-15 and inferior Kami-sama, and Spring had way more dull ones.

On a tangential note, I've been showing some friends who've never seen Ranma 1/2 why it's the best comedy around, and the second OP is pure classic.

Still know it word for word. (Somewhat NSFW.)

Also, I love how Viz did subs that sound like the JP lyrics.

I prefer the ED from Season 1, though. ('Let's Keep It Friends [Platonic]')

Ranma 1/2 easily is responsible for me enjoying the music from anime so much. Some of the first anime soundtracks I ever purchased.

So now that From Kokuriko Hill (コクリコ坂から) has been previewed by an internal group of Studio Ghibli's production staff members, we can congratulate them for the realization of such a difficult task in completing the film, but some of those heavily emotional impressions some of them have said surely are more biased, if possible, because of those seemingly 'nerve-wrecking' last months of work they were involved with. Apparently, we can expect some kind of new media as part of the film promotional campaign very soon...

Jexhius said:
It's essentially drama but without the 'anime-' tag that you find yourself applying to other drama's in the medium. There's no "it's a drama right up until scene which is totally 'anime' and not believable in the slightest" going on here. I appreciate that it's remarkably slow as well because it allows characters and situations to move along at a more organic pace.
And that still is one of the reasons Mr. Takahata is famous for, more or less. Fairly realistic human interaction depicted in a movie that happens to be animated, although that doesn't mean he doesn't knows how to take advantage of the medium possibilities, of course.

You'll come back, even if there was never another Ikuhara series.

They always come back.

It's okay, It's not like you have anything to lose.. If IDOLM@STER sucks I'll both quit anime and get a suitable tag for it.;_;

Yeah, but it's like statistically impossible for Idoru to suck.

Seriously guys, don't get caught up in 7th et al's pace. Wait and see if it's good, don't set your expectations any higher than they need to be. If the show ends up awesome, then it's a win for all of us.

Pfft, It's not like i have anything to worry about, i know the show is going be awesome.:3

Anticipating the next "big" anime is what makes us human!
