What? The song in No. 6's opening ruined it. The images were nice, but the song was not, ideally the first half of the song.

So I am guessing that mine is not a popular opinion?

To say the least.

Cajunator likes something in anime, news at 11.
I don't like everything.
Queen's Blade and Seikon no Kwaiser, I hated those.
It takes a special brand of bad for me to hate a show though.

I actually thought the OP for Kamisama Dolls was very nice, it had a creatively artistic streak. The song was okay too. The show looks like it will be a bit messy as it apparently combines Higurashi with Battlebots, but I'll keep watching a few more episodes at least.

What do you have against tits (and lactating tits)?!

IM@S 01

Not my cup of tea. At all. Couldn't even watch the full episode.

Pingroup 01

Dunno. It's extremely weird, but I'm not yet sure if it's weird in a good way or just outright weird. I think I like the theme, if I got it so far. The transformation sequence blew my mind, and the penguins were genuinely funny, so I'll give it another episode or two.

Mayo Chiki 01

Bad. Just... bad. Still, I'd be lying if I'd say it wasn't entertaining. Will watch.

Durarara!! 01

Intriguing. Need to watch another two or three episodes. Could be good.

There are some people here who would view all those as positives.
I don't, but I enjoyed the show in a "so bad it's good" way. Then again, despite all the warnings, I watched Mayo Chiki, and I think I'll watch the whole thing. Seems just as ridiculously and hilariously bad.

What was wrong with Seikon, the main character, Sasha was rather cool and the action intense plot was cool (Theresa and Mafuyu and Katja too). Hm, now I hope it gets a third season. Never saw Queen's Blade, heard it was too heavy on fanservice with no plot at all, not a fan of fanservice.

Not entirely correct. The first two seasons have a plot. And the show isn't even half bad for what it is.

Mawaru Penguindrum

Like watching a colorful,
incest
-laden daydream.

They just need to dial the creepy down by the littlest bit and this show will be perfect.

It works both ways!

lol. I still fail to see what is wrong with the OP.

As for the rest of the show, I did not really get past the halfway mark so I cannot comment on quality.

Cake and sweaters not exciting enough for you?

Well how bad could it possibly be? Can you list some reasons?

Other than the obvious loli tsundere Rie Kugiyama, JC Staff combination you have awful revelations twintailed loli hair powers, clothes that explode into parachutes, Sherlock Holmes and Lupin descendants, a count dracula that transforms into a werewolf with painted weakspots, Main protagonist who has a hyper mode when he gets a boner, a loli sniper who can tame wild wolves by grazing a bullet against it, villains joining the detective school because they begged forgiveness or something, did i mention the clothes that explodes into a parachute already?

It's actually quite amazing when I look back on it.

They're definitely doing the opposite. The few solid tidbits of insight that we were given into the narrative has to do with that all that creepy and its connection to the 'survival strategy.'

I can't believe how can this animu be so fucking bad with such an awesome plot.

And if even half of those LN spoilers are true we haven't seen anything yet!

I know. It is why Usagi Drop is destined to win "Best Show of The Season" without any serious competition.

And yeah, the "survival strategy" stuff creeped me out more than that one part at the end.

Hey man, if you have to bang your sister to save her life, you gotta roll up your sleeves and get to work... although I don't think it'll head in that direction.

That would be a pretty solid plot right there.

Much to Izayoi's detriment, I'm afraid.

Bakatest Ni - 01

It's time to stand up my brothers and form the "We care about bakatest" pact.

A beach episode on the first episode can't really go wrong with that opener, was a little concerned with the OVA's a few months ago, but it looks to be back on track.
I think it's going to be you, me, firehawk and Geneijin on this front.

It's still pretty much the same show. I could use more summoned battled but it's the reintroduction episode so eh it gets a pass. Kouta is still the best. I think Akira won out on all fronts this episode. Why wasn't Kubo on the beach with the rest of them. The things that would go on with Akihisa and Kubo are endless. Poor Hideyoshi. I'm going to enjoy dumbing it down with this show after all of Thursday's monocle shows.

Well let's hope Usagi drop doesn't adapt all of the manga, because you'll definitely change your tune about the "creepy" part.

Ituska Tenma no Kuro-Usagi
Bitches keep interfering with my student council business. Pretty boring for the most part outside of the decapitation. Overall quality level fits in with all the other crappy vampire shows this season.

Also, an instance of one line summarizing the anime:
clipboard01skby.jpg

Prince of Tennis: Two Samurais

See, THIS is what the show should've been like. Epic tennis matches where every return has the potential to send you hurtling into a wall if the ball hits you and a match UNDERWATER on a sinking ship with explosions and shit going on all around you.

It isn't REALLY moe Blood. Saya just shifts between moe and creepy in this one.

No.6
Man that was pretty boring. I might give it a couple more episodes because I want to see where the story is heading. Also I didn't realize Keiichi Suzuki was doing the music for this, which interests me a bit.

I'll take part in the pact as well. I really liked the first season and I expect S2 to deliver the goods as much as S1.

It's good that you mention the clothes exploding into a parachute twice, because she does it TWICE during the course of the show. :3

All the main characters have a ridiculous ancestry backstory, but in the anime several characters had their origin stories cut out, presumably to save time in a 12-episodes season.

The show is completely fantastic, actually. And it's terrible. And it's awesome. And it's ridiculous. And it is all of these things at the same time!

I could see this as the plot of a manga. I really could.

Yeah, the banging will be unrelated to saving her life.

Aria stuff

And yet, when put that way, it seems so alluring and fantastical that I must watch this.

Ro-Kyu-Bu 2
I'm astonished, there was like zero fanservice this week. MC could totally be mistaken for a pedo though considering he brought one of the players back to his house for a special "practice". More actual basketball this week, then sad loli, then happy loli maid team.
