Started it, since it seems to be one of this season´s hyped shows. Well, can´t say that I can judge it after just one episode. Episode 1 seems to be mostly setup for future episodes, so I hope that ep 2 will be the start of some more coherent focus, be it a serious or comedic anime.

I always love those scenes where they drive the point into your head that "this character is going to die" and then out of nowhere, the hero bursts in and saves the day. It's like a mix of Big Damn Heroes and Screw Destiny by contradicting the foreshadowing. Totally meta (or something).

I'm still under the impression the Idolmaster love-fest is just a running gag. Similar to Ninja Tits or Uta No Prince. Terrible shows, but stupid enough for some enjoyment.

Nah, none are. Except Uta-sama. It's been terrible the last two episodes with the 3rd one being very slightly better than 2, which is still bad.

Hentai protagonists are just as bad or worse, though, just in the opposite direction... what would actually be better would be something in between, which, indeed, is quite rarely seen.

Eve no Jikan 1-6 - So why the fuck hasn't this studio made anything since the movie? That was fucking amazing. Easily one of the prettiest animes of all time. Absolutely flawless use of camera angles, motion blur, CG, and visual effects. Amazing characters and interactions, and an awesome premise. Tightly written, and fantastically directed. So. Fucking. Good. Going back to this season's shows is going to be a real drag. ;_;
