Wow they're short.

2-3 decent, because they're just decent, shows are enough for "a pretty strong season"? Just 3 years ago, a "pretty strong season" was a season with 6-7 must-watch shows...
I'm not sure there has been an entire year with 6 - 7 must-watch shows, unless you like just about everything.

One must watch show per season each year is stellar, IMO. In recent years, I'd take one show I simply like per year.

Finished Black Lagoon: Roberta's Blood Trail a few days ago. Nice to see there is one anime studio that can make something I like, despite it reintroducing one of the more annoying characters from the TV show. Bring on another season (OVAs are fine...but they take too long to come out and it wasn't like the production values were through the roof). Hopefully they will release a blu-ray set in NA with the first two seasons and the OVAs.

Well that's the first time I've ever seen someone say that to 7Th. Usually people just accuse him of hating everything, lol.

Interesting how their knees all seem to be at the same level.

EDIT: Wow Kotori is 159cm. She's supposed to be older than everybody there.

A little late but

Bunny Drop 1:Not surprising to see Rin being shunned by the family, being an illegitimate child and all. Daikichi is a little quick to take her in being single and no child experience at all. Good first episode.

2:"Its sweat" :lol

Gotta feel for Rin having been abandoned by her mother and having her father die, having to wait for Daikichi. At least she had the needles ready for him when he arrived.

Definitely sticking with this series along with Penguindrum, and Tiger and Bunny and Hanasaku Iroha from the spring season.

The mid 2000's had some strong years. 2007 had like 17 things good shows.

Ikoku Meiro no Croisée 4 - A 19th century French weeaboo, huh? Okay.

Guess we're finally getting some conflict between the heiress and Claude. Which is cool.

Kamisama Dolls 4 - Those breasts are a wonder of the modern world.

Guess they're trying to set up some "You and I, we're the same, really!" between Aki and the MC which is dumb but whatever. I just hope we get some crossdressing action with that new kid and Utao. It's the perfect opportunity, and if that bath scene told me anything it's that these guys aren't afraid to take the safe route that you can see from a mile away.

Idoru Teams updated!

faridmon, your liberation from Team Rocket is provisional, pending your viewing of at least the first episode. I will expect a short (200 words) critique of the first episode by the end of this weekend. You can write as much as you want past the minimum. You may also choose an idol at that time if you wish.

That is all. As you were, Animu-GAF!

I knew this journey would be a masochistic one. Boy I was wrong. The terror slowly creeping into every fibre of my beeing is much more than I ever imagined possible. If there ever was an anime I would describe as psychologically taxing, it would be THIS one.
Awesome. Can't wait to add this to my collection next week.

Ten days of Saimoe prelims means we've reached 120 contestants, which means we're just a little under halfway there. Tournament proper starts about three weeks from now though.

Amusing fact you probably already knew: Victorique's VA is the same as Madoka's. And the Japanophile girl in Ikoku Meiro, it seems.

Hasn't just about everyone dropped IM@S at this point?
Not yet.

Same here. Wasn't there a sequel planned at one point?
For a while, I was into the whole "team of girls in space" idea with Stratos 4, Kiddy Grade, and Stellvia among my collection. Stellvia turned out to be the best of those.

Steins Gate 17: The last 3 episodes's has been really depressing, they should lighten up the mood a little. Many sad things taken place, i hope feyris remembers.

I know what you mean. As a fan of fans I was really depressed that the poor fan shop was once again replaced by a ℳℴℯ store.

I bet you the current plan will not work (kyouma's plan), and then we will all wish they never went into it in the first place.

Kaiji 17
Really? Nothing is going to progress in any way beyond
lamely tying in the 45ers?
How crushingly slow.

But really, the show doesn't seem to be weird enough to be unusual nor bad enough to be funny in a "so bad it's good" kind of way. Doh.
