Clearly you didn't read the follow up post to that.7Th said:Poor Dresden, nobody pays attention to his weekly sales posts.
Meh they're ok. Nothing to write home about.zeroshiki said:Lets forget about this and just talk about the awesome sales of HanaIro.
Suck it, haters.

Man, I had to miss people digging themselves further into a whole. Lame.Geneijin said:So you wanted Sakura to have a sexually developed body to offset what exactly?
It's not that hard to get branded.Miri said:I still haven't gotten a tag. I don't know whether to be upset or happy about that--I'm thinking happy, seeing the kind of tags that Animugaf dishes out.

Non-linear chronology is awesome when it's done right, and actually serves a purpose.Hitokage said:Have you not seen Baccano or pretty much anything by Quentin Tarantino?
Baccano! is far more extreme. There's only like two threads, in general, happening in Penguin. That's like, nothing.Instro said:Yeaaaah I don't know about that. I love the show but the first episode or two are incredibly difficult to follow. The jumping around gets much better as the show progresses but at the beginning not so much.
You read such a comment and then bother composing a reply? You have a large heart.Hitokage said:Did you even listen to their conversation? :/
Well you make a statement that, to most people, would read one way e.g. the show on the left is superior to the show on the right, but you actually mean that the show on the right is superior (and that's not a very common opinion) then confusion sets in.Sage00 said:Adaptations of two works by the same author. One "well produced" to an extent but the faults of the poor material lets it down over the long haul. The other people feel aren't perhaps as well directed, didn't get the attention the other show did, but is built on a more interesting foundation.
Edit: I shouldn't have explained this, instead you all should've just 'figured it out on your own' and looked for depth that wasn't there (rather than a well produced 4-movie remake which fixes those horrible script issues).
Sennorin said:Durarara was a mess, but Baccano was a boring mess (from what I saw in the one episode I watched). Though, admittedly, I´m not a fan of complicated anime for complication´s sake. Penguin is dangerously close to that, but redeems itself by having a great cast of main characters, unlike the other two shows mentioned above.
This is a dark pathSage00 said:Completely agree!
Yes, 'shoujo ordinary' as in perfect skin and flawless hair. Totally average.darkside31337 said:Haven't watched S2 myself yet but when I think of moeblobs I never thought of Sawako. She's too plain and ordinary looking (which is a refreshing thing) to be a moeblob.
Being anime average would be pretty nice.Jexhius said:Yes, 'shoujo ordinary' as in perfect skin and flawless hair. Totally average.

Isn't that what I just said?darkside31337 said:If those are your only two redeeming physical traits as the female lead then yeah ordinary. Everybody has perfect skin and flawless hair in shoujo series.
