So you wanted Sakura to have a sexually developed body to offset what exactly?
Man, I had to miss people digging themselves further into a whole. Lame.

I still haven't gotten a tag. I don't know whether to be upset or happy about that--I'm thinking happy, seeing the kind of tags that Animugaf dishes out.
It's not that hard to get branded.

Have you not seen Baccano or pretty much anything by Quentin Tarantino?
Non-linear chronology is awesome when it's done right, and actually serves a purpose.

Sadly, there are very few examples of that :(

Yeaaaah I don't know about that. I love the show but the first episode or two are incredibly difficult to follow. The jumping around gets much better as the show progresses but at the beginning not so much.
Baccano! is far more extreme. There's only like two threads, in general, happening in Penguin. That's like, nothing.

Did you even listen to their conversation? :/
You read such a comment and then bother composing a reply? You have a large heart.

Adaptations of two works by the same author. One "well produced" to an extent but the faults of the poor material lets it down over the long haul. The other people feel aren't perhaps as well directed, didn't get the attention the other show did, but is built on a more interesting foundation.

Edit: I shouldn't have explained this, instead you all should've just 'figured it out on your own' and looked for depth that wasn't there (rather than a well produced 4-movie remake which fixes those horrible script issues).
Well you make a statement that, to most people, would read one way e.g. the show on the left is superior to the show on the right, but you actually mean that the show on the right is superior (and that's not a very common opinion) then confusion sets in.

Durarara was a mess, but Baccano was a boring mess (from what I saw in the one episode I watched). Though, admittedly, I´m not a fan of complicated anime for complication´s sake. Penguin is dangerously close to that, but redeems itself by having a great cast of main characters, unlike the other two shows mentioned above.
Sage00 said:
Completely agree!
This is a dark path :(

Especially considering how lame Durarara! is.

Haven't watched S2 myself yet but when I think of moeblobs I never thought of Sawako. She's too plain and ordinary looking (which is a refreshing thing) to be a moeblob.
Yes, 'shoujo ordinary' as in perfect skin and flawless hair. Totally average.

Dantalian no Shoka 6

So looks like we got an actual villain to look forward to. Of course I'm sure the anime will end before anything significant happens with them.

Also, Flam>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Dalian.

If those are your only two redeeming physical traits as the female lead then yeah ordinary. Everybody has perfect skin and flawless hair in shoujo series.

i refuse to believe that mio and azusa are not related
maybe its the cheap moe art style

I wouldn't be surprised at one point the original manga author originally wanted to make them sisters or cousins, but then he realized that Yui and Ui is enough familial relationships.

Isn't that what I just said?

Cross-dresser in El-Hazard. :-P

Just refer to her as Best Makoto, like we call Best Haruihi, "Best Haruhi" so there's no confusion.

But there are so many worthwhile candidates for Best Makoto, how will we ever keep things straight?

I completely forgot, they rarely ever refer to him by his first name.

The guy had all of one picture, and his name wasn't even a character tag!

Also I have some Saimoe results! Interesting split on which Strike Witches won and lost. Yuuko pulls the epic reverse troll on Mai for once by succeeding where Mai failed.
