The controversy is that a bunch of angry neckbeards read a testimonial from an angry ex-boyfriend about a female indie dev's relations with some game journos and immediately assumed COLLUSION and went Salem witch trails on her.

I hope they don't even give this stupid "controversy" the time of day next week.

I thought there was actually a story about nepotism or something in the industry.

When you explain it like that, it sounds really fucking stupid.

Is that the same Zoe Quinn that was supposed to be in that crappy indie reality show?

I"m not a believer of lightning striking twice, but she also released a game called Depression Quest and made it free after Robin Williams suicide.

It seems like she draws negative press whenever she's involved in something.
 
Holyshit! The videogames stores! Picked up Yakuza Ishin for like ten quid and they had so many ps1, N64 and gamecube stuff I might go back. Advertising the fuck out of Psycho break here. Went to an arcade and played some music games (attack on titan theme FTW) this is only my second day here.

Accidentally went into an adult DVD store. Loads of Hitomi J-cup stuff.

The game jam was a failure for an array of reasons but one of them was that the producers tried to egg Jontron to have a reality tv show style fight with her.

She explained that making DQ free was something planned before Robin William's death.

Honestly half of her negative press is due to bad luck, making a game that could offend some people for being 2deep4them, and being a woman in a industry full of misogynists.

Not to bring the drama from those threads here, but It's not fair to assume the industry as a whole is misogynist. It's certainly a boys club, but misogynistic isn't fair to devs like Jade Raymond or Kellee Santiago or Corrinne Yu. They have done very good work in their positions and those devs are respected no matter where they work.

Back on topic, has anyone ever tried King's Field? How is it?

She has high lightning and fire resistance and is completely immune to poison.
IIRC the most exploitable weakness was strike damage. Been a while since I fought her though.

I may have been a bit hyberbolic but there's a lot of gamers that love to shit on the females involved in the industry.
 
So.. I'm restarting my Demon Souls game and.. what Class should i go for? i tried mage but it didn't seem great for my play style, the farthest I ever went was with hunter.
 
Just checked ot plagues patreon page and saw that for 20 bucks he says he'll "whip you up a sketch of whatever you want.". My first thought was "...uh oh"

Royal is easy mode. Your starting class means almost nothing, since all it does is give you some preset stat point allocations. Heavy melee build is always fun.
