You gotta do cool guy things, like create a GAF thread about Kung Pow and have Pat talk about it while playing RE4 =)
Or make a thread about something and link to something they liked on YouTube.

On my first VN, Clannad, I went with the whole "Choose the options that you want, and don't follow a guide' for the first playthrough.
I ended up getting a bad end where Nagisa gets sick and that's it, because I didn't know which characters to choose for my basketball team. Like 20-30 hours in, and I didn't have multiple saves.
I now never play a VN without a guide, and even then I still use multiple saves.
Thank you for guiding my hips senpai.
Someone start Song of Saya.

I played maybe half of it but had to stop from feeling sick to my stomach.
That's fair. I wouldn't tell anyone not to use a spoiler free guide because fuck some VNs that have some obtuse bullshit choices/objectives in order to unlock plot important stuff in the game.
It's not fun, it's annoying. Luckily Fate/SN isn't too punishing compared to some other VNs.

Pretty sure he's talking about Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood? The kids show? I could be totally wrong.Someone point me to the Tiger video Matt talked about in the beginning of the podcast.
Yeah, while I love Clannad, there are some weird choices in there.
Like literally the final choice in one of the routes, to get the good end, is to guess 3 things in a row. I understand the story context of why it was made like that, but those poor VN newbies.
I'm going to someday, it's been on my list for awhile.
And I can't imagine it getting on Steam anytime soon...

Not allergies like that, just Nonstop Infinite Drainage. Yuck. Feel like crud.
The salt sequel is over.

Also wooooo. I liked this playthrough despite the hate, glad it's over though.
This has nothing to do with anything and I'm saying this at the most APPROPRIATE POSSIBLE moment, but I just realized something. I realized that Matt should use even more Terry Bogard references in these playthroughs.
KICK BACK!

Fucking Steins;Gate is the worst for that.
Maybe one route makes sense for the choices, everything else is incomprehensible.
For those who don't know, there is no choice system in Steins;Gate. The game progresses linearly. While the story happens, you get text messages. Your game changes depending on how you respond or even if you ignore them. It's not very clear how to go down routes.
Still fucking love it though.
HELL FUCK YES PERSONA TIME.
I can't figure out this Teddie though. I inflated it but it wont' stand up.
How far into Fate/Stay Night does it take to get "Good".
I ask that because it's been on my list for a while, and I know it is quite long. Not all of the running time is going to be absolute gold. I've been trying to get through MuvLuv, and that drags on for about twenty hours.
Basically, when does Fate/Stay Night?git gud

I need a new anime to watch now since I finally finished Monster & Terror of Resonance. BTW i was right about Terror of Resonance, I'm kinda sad it doesn't redeem itself. No big twists.. it's just.. Dull. But Monster is Fantastic. my LTTP of it is now lost in the OT somewhere.
It starts with the worst route then you get to do the most awesome route ever! Then you get the cooking and sex route.
Honestly, unlimited blade works is the best and well paced route of them all. Each route has its moments. But the Fate route is just an info dump, and Heaven's feel is just paced poorly.
That being said, the Fate route isn't bad, just a little boring.
Hajime no Ippo.I need a new anime to watch now since I finally finished Monster & Terror of Resonance. BTW i was right about Terror of Resonance, I'm kinda sad it doesn't redeem itself. No big twists.. it's just.. Dull. But Monster is Fantastic. my LTTP of it is now lost in the OT somewhere.
Holy shit at the downvotes in the Season Two Finale. The Salt is real and burning.

Which one do I start? isn't there like two other series of Ippo?

I just realized why I like the Master/Servent concept so much. It's like Persona on crack
