Super Mario 3D World: New Trailer

Wow, that trailer really really looked good.

And, it's the first time since I bought the Wii U last December I see something that brings me back to Nintendo a little bit.

Good job, Nintendo...

I can't believe that comes out next month! I just got a Wii U a few days ago and need to catch up on NSMBU, Luigi, and a few others. I can't NOT get this Day 1, but damn, how am I going to finish everything else??

I always knew this game would be great because I was looking at it from the multiplayer angle. But I never expected it to look that good singleplayer! Truly looks like awesome amounts of fun - very much want!

Good for Nintendo realising that they had to show it was a proper singleplayer game too. It definitely looks like it'll be a bigger, better version of 3D Land, which in itself was an excellent 3D Mario, so they can't go wrong.

Ugly my ass!

Looks amazing. It's the animation that gets me. A really stunning looking game.

Wow,this is out on November 29th in the UK? PS4 launch day? Definite day 1 purchase (or maybe a birthday present as It's my birthday too..), but what to play first? I think my tech lust will have to be satiated first, because if I start with mario I won't be able to stop. good time to have a few days off work :)

lol @ Bowser in Wario's car. He even pimped it out with some spikes. Or maybe it's Wario in a Bowser suit.

This game looks great. It looks like the natural evolution of SM3DL and I loved that game. I got every coin and beat it with Luigi and everything. Loved it.

This looks more exciting and fun as a proper linear Mario game than both Galaxy games. I still wish 3D Mario went back to the exploration and open worlds of Mario 64, though :\

I don' get why people're thinking it's Wario's car.
I mean, they're both definitely based off of the same thing, but they're definitely not the same thing.

I absolutely hated this game at E3, but my god this game pulled a 180 bigger than anything the Xbox One has. This game looks amazing now!

The more I think of it, the more I'd say that "lower the expectations" is quite fitting for Nintendo. More devs/publishers should apply this to their marketing.

I'm a huge fan of Galaxy, and Galaxy 2 is easily one of my 'top 5 games of all time'.

Nevertheless, I find it fascinating how a few changes in camera angle can make this game regarded as 'not an epic Mario game' by some.

I expected this since the first trailer usually show the first boring stages so journalists dont get lost as usual, its looking wonderful.

Man, I hate it when games don't match my buzzword of choice. Personally, I feel this game does not look bodacious enough for a radical dude like me. Should be decent enough for dribbling babies and persistently vegetative gamers though,

I really wish nintendo makes an epic Mario game where it's all realistic and set in Brooklyn, Mario is a gangster who when takes some shrooms has an altered view of reality.

If they bundle this in with a Wii U, I might actually buy one for this game alone.

That's coming from someone who swears they would NEVER buy a Wii U, though I LOVE my 3DS XL and SM3DL is one of my favorite Mario games ever.

This looks so, so, so incredible. Anyone who says otherwise is probably just hating for the sake of being a hater.

Just to add this in; I decided I absolutely had to buy a 3DS after playing a Mario 3D Land demo in a store. Again, I had completely sworn off ever buying one up until that point.

Looks so good, I've still got a few minor complaints (TIMER!) but it's still amazing looking. One thing though, if everyone has these unique abilities there isn't really an incentive to play as Mario, seems kinda like an oversight.

For real, this series never ceased to be a special world. I'd like to think each Mario game does its best to be gnarly on its own merits, from the tubular atmosphere of Galaxy to the way cool tranquility in some of 64s more lush areas. I'd argue the all-important level design never weakened either and only got more awesome, and even now 3D World is holding its own, being groovy. Some people would say that Bowser's mondo ride has me blinded but I beg to differ. How outrageous that people can't get down with the funky beat presented in this trailer.

I'm really excited for the stamp book. It almost feels like Nintendo is embracing a solid achievement system. Discover hidden stamps that you get to use in MiiVerse drawings? I hope every game applies some kind of stamp system!!

I really hope the trailer music is an indication of the general musical direction; the main theme feels kind of flat/boring like NSMB music does. Hopefully there's some Galaxy-tier live orchestral stuff thrown in, too.

After the incredibly "meh" E3 reveal, this looks so much better. Went from "might purchase it someday if I don't have anything left" to Day one purchase. This should have been the reveal trailer.

If this was the reveal trailer, people would have reacted the same. People were disappointed by the look of the game and it being a sequel to 3D Land; a game that was already very familiar to many people.

Time has now passed and in the meantime people have come to accept that this is the new 3D Mario. Now they're ready to see the game for what it always was and the new trailer helped immensely in further proving that familiarity isn't a bad thing as long as you keep things fresh and creative, which they absolutely did.

If this trailer was shown at E3, they needed a similarly fresh trailer for yesterday, which they couldn't have done, because I believe we've now seen most of the game's mechanics.

Looking good like that while keeping clarity is pretty inspirational.
You can look at all those gifs, screens, the scenes are always focused.

I wonder what's happening in that large flat level, I was thinking of some bombs dropping or something popping out from the ground, don't see the point if not.

I sort of feel like I'm back at the Galaxy reveal.

"A Mario game where everything is on tiny planetoids? God how lame."

Then we saw more of it and it ended up looking like the most phenomenal game ever.

Can't wait to get my hands on this game. Only wish is they had more of the villians form SMB2. I would have like to have seen the mouse at least.

I m watching this trailer over and over, the animations, music, lighting, new suits everything looks great.
It was my most anticipated game even if the reveal was a little bit underwhelming.
God, i love EAD tokyo.

I planned to get the Wii U for X in 2014.
Now I am definitely buying it next month. crazy
I was so disappointed with the E3 reveal but This is a definite system seller.

Mario galaxy levels of creativity on show here.
Sooooo much improvement since e3.

I remember watching Nintendo's e3 conference when the trailer popped on. I honestly thought it was a new Mario Party game at first. Looks way better now to say the least.
