You'd think that if they'd lazily put Mewtwo in the end they'd just make the bottom row have the same width as the top one.

I wasn't expecting a SFIV 2012 edition but this was way worse than I could've imagined.

Surprised at how smooth everything went.
Woke up, noticed the email, turned on both Wii U and 3DS, downloaded the respective updates, redeemed the codes on each...and playing with Mewtwo.

Might grab the Mii costumes if I can get a $10 eShop card later.

It's everyone basically ddos'ing the servers, lol.

So I got to the eShop and made my purchase before getting kicked out of the shop. Now I can't find where the dlc download went. Anyone know where to find things you've already purchased?

Wait you downloaded it from the eShop? I didn't think you could. Unless you mean the Update, which is just automatically added into Smash once you download.

Crossin' my fingers you're right that the server is at fault and not crazy Chinese interwebs. Just gonna wait till tomorrow, I guess.
 
welp, Link's dthrow has less knockback, it can combo into bair, upsmash, and stuff at low %, that's another good thing at least

and looking at Smashboards patch notes, ZSS seems unchanged, just as I thought from the little I used her so far

I slept, will be getting ready for class soon, and then I have work.

I will continue to be upset that I haven't received an email. It's a dumb system, I should be allowed to see it on my Club Nintendo profile the fact that Europe and Australia have a better way of managing everything is stupid.

I registered everything week one, and bought everything at LAUNCH. Getting a code late is scummy, and even worse some are saying they sent out every single code so I might not get one at all? Wtf.
 
LOL the change to Samus' F-tilt so it now has four different hitboxes.

They nerfed one of Samus's moves. What the hell.

For Wii U the eShop is where you download all dlc, so costumes, mewtwo, etc.


It's already updated though.

My 3DS won't update at the moment though...
 
Sorry about that Beats, it was getting really crazy over here dealing with family at the same time. I'll play later.

Curious to hear what you thought of my play today though.

Dude just go live your life. If you come back and you still haven't gotten a code pick up a phone and make a call to NOA. You're getting worked up over something so inconsequential.
 
Considering the first patch buffed Ike's neutral air and turned Shulk from "boring sword guy" to M O N A N D O B O Y, it seemed like they would have something more than this for a patch that had 6 months of data to go on.

We'll see what happens now that Diddy doesn't annihilate everything instantly, but doesn't look like there's any reason for Sheik to be less dominant.

Even in Brawl, Diddy Kong was a really good character. Really good.

These changes just takes him down just a really small notch; I would expect him to be high in tier lists nevertheless.
 
And nope, Mewtwo can't be bought at any eShop yet. I think that's part of the confussion. You can only buy the Mii Costumes at the moment. Mewtwo is later this month.
 
Excited to see the changes and get used to the new tweaks after work. Have fun smashing, everyone! :)

Just gonna wait for Dantarion to confirm any real changes besides obvious ones. Though so far the patch is more underwhelming than I expected and my expectations were pretty low lol.

No problem. I need to get back to studying anyway.

I think you played a lot better compared to the other day. Only thing you need to mix up is your getup from the ledge.

There is a different message when you go to customize Mewtwo's custom moves. It says 'Chose a custom move (There are no customs)' or something similar. I tested vs a character I have no unlocked moves for (Wario) and that 2nd part is not listed. So, as of right now, Mewtwo has no customs.

Seem to be able to. Also jab into Side-B seems to be possible, and perhaps easiest based on observation. I only tried Mewtwo once, but in my handful of online games this morning, that seemed to be a common thing. Jab -> Side-B -> USmash.
 
Is the Nintendo eshop having issues on WiiU? I'm trying to redeem my Mewtwo code and not getting anywhere.

EDIT: And it comes up right as I post.
 
Nice, I didn't know there are more stages available in Omega form for 8-player Smash. There are only 6 left that aren't playable now. Here's hoping they're also patched in (as well as some more regular stages).
