F2s basically cause the audience to stop watching after the F3 TC in a lot of cases. It's a production-side issue. F3 also tends to get more "likable" winners.

If someone is breathing down your neck for a F3 deal, blow smoke up their ass and make them feel comfortable. The only way you're really safe is if you win Immunity, but you don't want the person who you tell they aren't safe to win it, and then have a reason to vote you out. That's like Reality Show 101.

They only stopped because of the abomination that is Redemption Island eating up airtime in the finale. So glad they (by which I mean Burnett) got through to (overruled) Jeff and killed it.
