Papercuts said:If you mess around you notice the DMM a lot more. This specific level doesn't show it off that noticeably, but it's there for sure. The doors, while they look like pre canned animations when you use the force to open them, can be bent the backwards, all the way to the wall, and then back again. You can bend steel beams out in front of the tie fighters, bend those backwards, or throw objects at them to bend them.
Nearly all wall panels can be affected as well. In the very first hallway, throw objects against the wall. Depending on the force, momentum, angle, weight ect. of the impact, it will bend and warp differently.

I dunno, I kind of felt it while playing. If Too Human had attack on buttons and you tilted the camera up a bit in Force Unleashed, you'd have a third person hack and slash style game with a lot of empty hallways. I don't think the games are all that similar, but I did kind of see the comparison.Flesh Into Gear said:this forum is ape-shit retarded (sometimes)
You have to be in a range where it attacks you, then you can throw things at it automatically.Revolutionary said:The camera and targeting system were godawful. Why can't I throw shit at the AT-ST? Cuz I'm throwing it at random other objects I'm apparently aiming at, of course!

As for the rest, nothing special.
I couldn't help but laugh at Soul Calibur's Apprentice looking infinitely better than this (official) portrayal.

Ryu said:Also, is everyone who complains about the camera actually adjusting it manually with the right stick when moving? I do it constantly. It's not as speedy as I'd like it, but I haven't had camera issues yet since I'm in total control of it. Maybe the final game will have a speed slider for it.

...last few tries, I didn't even hit once with my saber, I just kept throwing shit at it to wear it down, then did the QTE
McBradders said:Another issue is why the hell there had to be a QTE for that, it woulda been much cooler to have to knock it off the platform, or push it over or something. So much missed potential.
Lostconfused said:Well there is a scene in the trailer where the apprentice just crushes the AT-AT to the ground. I really think it was a bad decision to not give you a bunch of abilities/powers to play around with that you might unlock later in the game. DMC 4 gave you a couple of moves to play around with in the demo that you didnt start of with in the game.
McBradders said:Is it worthe a $60 gamble, though?
I WANT TO SAY YES.

I think this game captures some of that, at least.
