Mii MAKER -> View Mii Characters -> Personal Mii [gold crown] -> Edit -> Next -> Nickname
N.B. Once the Personal Mii is set at the initial 3DS set-up, the system will not allow you to delete it or change it to another Mii. However, with the above steps you can change anything about the appearance of the Mii and change its other settings, including its nickname.

Really? I only have about 30 and maybe 15-20 are active daily and I still have trouble keeping up with the messages sometimes. 'You have 9 new notes'.
Oh and own up. Who is changing the date on their 3DS to earn more Coins?

honestly, im like 4 rooms or so off of finishing Find Mii, got a mario, pikmin and kirby hat and im just holding out for the zelda one! cant believe i wasted like 3 days waiting on some lvl 1 scrub in a light blue shirt.

stripper one hits home because i had a buddy come in from ireland and blow $900 on this one hialeah cuban chick (a 6 at best)...of his fiance's money. needless to say, that trip ended poorly.
i tried telling this tale in swapnote, but quickly scrapped it when i basically failed to draw proper cottage cheese thighs.

Wow... I haven't seen colors yet. If anyone finds out how to get colors, let us know.

Someone mentioned how to do it earlier in this thread I think. Basically you import a photo of a color drawing and use the right frame then you can draw over the picture as if you had color because the color comes from the photo or something like that.

Yeah, that was me with the red. I was sleepless one night and thought of using the 3ds's camera app ability to edit pictures and extract some color. Even though there isn't a lot of color choices, you can use the rainbow pencil and stretch out the colors using the 3d tools and get lighter and darker colors. Then you just use the eyedroper to choose your color.
Also the different stationary allows for different placement of the picture, some taking the whole sheet, but often with designs over those (like the bubbles and rainy ones).
As with the timing of the blood (the red), you can place the image ahead and use it as a guide. Just remove it and re-add it so it times in when you want it.

I'm glad you're enjoying them. I've actually got some request to continue the Nikki News series. Everything has been pretty spontaneous creation so far though, but my stick figure art level has even surprised me. But I guess it's good to have a creative outlet where even the most random of notes can turn into something fun for everyone.
I've spent far too much of my free time inside this app....
but considering all the notes I receive everyday, I can see I'm not the only one.

Also for another favorite note, someone sent a kinda cool/serious looking Wario. Kinda neat and odd seeing Wario represented that way. Felt like he should of had some jazzy/porno like theme music in the background or something.
Shit man, I haven't booted mine up today, been doing real life stuff hahaha. Hope the video game retrospective is going still, I started two of those one on just arcade games (1971-1980-1991-2001 although 'Penis shooter' was supposed to be Counter Strike or similar hahahaha) and one on handheld gaming (Skipped Simon, went straight to Game and Watch - GB - Mobile Phone - Swap Note).

Has anyone noticed there seems to be some sort of sorting issue with replies?
Its almost like they are sorted by time, but don't take account of timezone differences, instead treating all messages as though they are on UTC. I've replied to a couple of messages and my messages appear higher in the order than they should, and don't make sense in that context.
My latest example being the 'what's in the chest' game - where Mistle drew Tingle... my reply should come after his, but it doesn't.

I think that the reply you make is always shown first, for you. Does that make sense? This has been the case for me in the past. Your reply to the story (which was great XD), comes up after mine.

[post #1361]You know you can edit your Swap Note Mii's name so it is the same [or similar] to your GAF username, yes?
It's an "add selected codes" sort of thing, since the list is well over a hundred long and the 3DS Friend Code list only allows up to a hundred to be added to it.
