How can this system sell so much, when it's following the WiiU and has a myriad of hardware issues.
I still think this will be big, but did not expect to go out of the gate so strong
because the hardware itself feels solid and hardware problems fade into the background until they occur to you directly.
most people aren't reading the internet to see there's a failure rate on left joycon hardware.
if the screen damage is truly near-inevitable then that'll take a longer period of time to start affecting word of mouth.
the barebones online features won't have a chance to hurt them til a major online game drops and people have to decide how annoying the behind-the-times feature set is.
