Tales of Xillia Panel at Wondercon 2013

Off topic, but everytime I see Wondercon mention I remember how sad it is that the Con has moved away from San Francisco. Stupid So-Cal...

Hopefully the panel will provide us with a Sid release date.

Sorry 'bout it. I guess WonderCon had to replace AX, lol.

Will they reveal more voices here? It looks like it'll just be Jude/Milla's voices.

Is this panel going to be about how they're not gonna do any sort of advertising whatsoever and release it against another major RPG?

And that the NA version of the game is getting an exclusive "JYB voices all characters" mode that is on by default?

Of course. It'll be a limited edition CE for Aeana though.

Damn. I read Tales of Xillia Incoming March 29 when I glanced over the title and my heart skipped a beat. Well, an announcement is still good.

Not sure if anyone mentioned it, but Namco's also hosting a Naruto Shippuden: UNS 3 panel there, too. They're promising a special announcement on that front. The game surfaced in Steam's registry yesterday (but was quickly replaced by some generic ValveTest name---I saw it, so I can confirm it was there), so I'm guessing they're going to announce the PC version.

Anyhow, here's the PR:

NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. is inviting attendees at this year’s WonderCon in Anaheim, California a chance to meet with the minds behind two fan favorite franchises from NAMCO BANDAI Games. Hiroshi Matsuyama CEO and President of CyberConnect2, developer of NAMCO BANDAI Games’ NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM 3 and Tales of Xillia producer Hideo Baba will be hosting special panels devoted to their respective series. They will also be available throughout the weekend for signing sessions with fans at the NAMCO BANDAI Games America booth (#1307). WonderCon will be held in the Anaheim Convention Center on March 29-31, 2013.

Of course. It'll be a limited edition CE for Aeana though.

And comes with a physical statue of Emil that says awesome phrases like "Courage is the magic that turns dreams into reality."

I'm not a Naruto fan but I do like the games, a PC port would be wonderful.

Yup. I had posted the PR for Xillia a few hours back and NS3 is here.

Yeah, I'm gonna be at WonderCon, as well. Curious about what they'll show, but I'm guessing it won't be anything major, judging by the panel description.

Well considering that the voice actors are going to be there I assume there will at least be a trailer.

Speaking of LE, did Graces f get one in NA?

I only remember that First Day edition or whatever it was, but that was for EU, right?

Graces F's PS3 themes were so disappointing. Why did they have to rotate :/

I'd have kept the Pascal one on for a long time.

So Wondercon is permanently in Anaheim now? It had finally become a con SF could get excited about in recent years, and then it moved away? Why? I'd go to this panel in an instant.

At this point all you can hope is for them to create a new con in San Francisco.

Starts in 2 days? With Kingdom Hearts HD not until fall, and looking the same for FFX|FFX-2 HD if not later. I need a summer game, please release early summer Xillia!

It's defo a summer game and most likely June or July :).

We should hopefully find out the exact date when this starts.

I'm on the fence on the voice acting, need to hear more, but Jude sounded good to me. Alvin, not so much.

I really hope this is live, I want to watch. Or at least recorded.

If they do announce a release date, I wonder if it will just be for the US, or if they'll include Europe this time

Hopefully a date for both US and Europe. I'm looking forward to see what the surprises are, if there really are any surprises.

EU date will most likely be not the US release date since it hasn't even been a year since Graces f came out for EU.

oh, so it starts 5pm my time. I hope its recorded. I bet it won't be though, lol. Would be nice to see the voice actors in person.

I would love to be able to go to a panel with Hideo Baba and ask "So when are all of your games coming to PC/Steam?"

The JRPG scene on the PC is so starved... I would love to see the Tales Series on Steam, and I imagine the modding scene would be pretty active too.
