Tantalus (TP HD) working on Switch, is taking suggestions for remasters

They are probably porting Twilight Princess hd to Switch.

A few other games that would be good:

- Luigi Mansion hd remake
- Donkey Kong tropical freeze + Returns hd port
- Kid Icarus uprising hd port
- more if you really want to blow peoples minds. Rare Donkey Kong snes trilogy using tropical freeze assets.
- Snes super Metroid

* assuming Metroid Prime HD is being remade from ground up. *

I thought for sure Nintendo was gonna port it to WiiU, this would be the perfect time to remaster it.

I think they will have a launch 3rd party port, and a Nintendo remaster later in the year

Now that I think about it, they might be doing one of the Ubisoft launch game ports, they ported Zombi to Xbox one and PS4

Wait, why is everyone posting just here and not on their Facebook page like they asked?

That being said, Metroid Prime Trilogy with both GameCube- and Wii-styled control options would fit well with the Switch's IR pointer in the right Joy-Con.
 
How about a remake instead? I want Geist back!
 
I'm excited at the prospect of some of my favorite console games being portable. Here's my wishlist of games that I think would benefit from portability and play well.

• Zelda: Twilight Princess
• Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes (3rd Party)
• Resident Evil 4 (3rd Party)

Wii Entries
• Metroid Prime Trilogy
• Xenoblade Chronicles
• Super Mario Galaxy 1+2
• Madworld (3rd Party)
• No More Heroes 1+2 (3rd Party)
• Sonic Colors (3rd Party)


Wii U Entries
• Bayonetta 1+2 (Nintendo Published)

Nintendo put out the two Zelda N64 games out on Wii U VC a couple years after the 3D remakes released. So a GCN VC wouldn't stop any GCN remakes from happening.

Wii controls come back, or no deal.

I'd like MP HD and loz:SS HD but the character models and all textures need the upgrade.
F-zero gx would be nice.

NMH is nice, but grasshopper manufacture is confirmed to work with Switch, so maybe they could do it themselves?
 
Metroid Prime, I'd be perfectly happy if they just focused on and perfected the first one.

Luigis Mansion, Mario Galaxies, and both WiiU Zelda ports so I can just get rid of that thing.
 
It's got be Super Mario Sunshine because they can not just remaster it but improve it. It's one of the games Nintendo has admitted to rushing to complete. They could add new stuff and not have to endlessly repeat the same challenges and boss battles. I don't have facebook, are they on twitter?
 
Actually, I'd like a remaster of an NVidia Shield game: METAL GEAR RISING REVENGEANCE.

C'mon NVidia! Help Nintendo give me that sweet, sweet Rules of Nature on the go!
 
Melee - For the stages not playable on Smash 4 (Fourside, Poke Floats, Mushroom Kingdom 1 and 2)

Or just port those stages to the Smash 4 engine so we can have them in HD at last.

Why you keep saying they porting TPHD to switch lol?
 
Top priorities:

- Metroid Prime Trilogy HD (w/JoyCon motion controls, dual-analog controls, and traditional Prime controls)
- Ocarina of Time + Majora's Mask HD (based on the 3DS versions, with even better textures and camera controls)
- Super Mario 64 HD (based on N64 versions, but with redone graphics, gameplay enhancements, and add'l camera options)

Nice to have:

- Pikmin 1 + 2 HD (using Pikmin 3 assets, redone environment textures)
- The Wind Waker + Twilight Princess HD (straight port of Wii U versions, maybe at higher framerate?)
- Skyward Sword HD (w/JoyCon motion controls - this game is nigh worthless without motion control)
- Super Mario Galaxy HD Collection (redone controls, better environment textures)
- Wave Race (content from both 64 and Blue Storm)
- Xenoblade Chronicles (better character models and environment textures)
 
Luigi's Mansion (Gamecube) + Dark Moon collection would be nice. Wonderful 101 is not that old, but would greatly benefit from a more steady framerate and improved image quality.

If we're talking third party games, I could always go for portable Vanquish. Or maybe another port of Resident Evil 4.

I'd really want Skies of Arcadia (SEGA please!) since I can't find a cheap GameCube copy anywhere and I don't have a Dreamcast on me anymore (haven't had one since 1st grade), but all three would be hopeful remaster choices.

I would double-dip on Metroid Prime Trilogy, the Galaxy games and Xenoblade Chronicles if they do end up happening. I'd love for Eternal Darkness too since I never got to try it out and finding a decent priced copy is a pain.

There are tons of games to choose as possibilities since Wii U is Nintendo's only HD system so far and it didn't really sell well at all.

This. Similarly, you guys keep saying Xenoblade HD. What you see in your head is a full-on remake. Implying a cost that goes way way way beyond what they'd be willing to do I bet.

Most definitely. Even as far as Gamecube went, the general graphics were pretty muddy and uninspired, defying the beauty of the rare cutscenes in those games. Of course, I would want completely new field models and character models, which would go beyond the scope of a remaster a bit.

Kid Icarus Uprising would kick ass in shiny HD and with non-claw controls.
 
Nintendo would have to confirm the odds of GameCube virtual console before some of these GameCube remaster requests.
