Target Triple Trade-in Value from 5/18-5/24

They'll mark games as lacking inserts even if the game didn't come with one in the first place (frustrating as many Vita games don't have inserts), but aside from that, great deal. Just traded Killzone Shadowfall, Lego Marvel and Killzone Mercenary for $110. Got a $20 PSN card for Transistor and I'll be using 60 of the remaining 90 for Watch Dogs (which itself will someday be sold back, continuing the circle of life).
Really depends on who you get to do the transaction. The guy who handled my trade-ins knew about some of the newer games not coming with anything and I ended up getting full value on Killzone. Actually chatted with him about SMT:Nocturne and Kingdom Hearts a little, too.

Yea Target and Amazon had a fallout a couple years ago.. Kindles vanished from their stores along with Amazon cards.

Depending on what you wanted at Amazon though, Target will price match everything that is directly sold by them...not sure if this matters, but a lot of people don't realize this.

I paid $15 but should have got a physical copy, smh i own it forever :(

Heh... worse than my regret.

Apparently AC IV on PS4 is getting 51 dollars credit back while AC IV on P3 is getting 27. I got it for the PS3 + 10 dollar upgrade fee to play it on my PS4 cause amazon was selling it cheap enough that it only cost me 40-45 dollars. In hindsight, if I do the math, I would have been better off paying the full 60 for the PS4 version cause I would have lost less money after the trade in. Though I think I may have paid 40 for it which means it was only a few dollars more expensive.

Ah well, it was worth the price I suppose to have something to play on my PS4 for a little bit. And now I'll get something I actually am excited for and not for it being something to play on my PS4, Wolfenstein :).

I appologize if this has already been answered, but does anyone know if the deal extends to consoles, too? I would be a very happy man if I could trade in my 1st gen 3DS for $150.

if you are missing inserts, just stick w/e you have in there, been just putting in random club nintendo files. they woudln't know!

think ill trade in twilight princess gcn. its worth $40, but its easier to just trade-in, unless anyone here want it ;)

Took my girlfriend with me and traded the following in:

Assassin's Creed IV (PS4)
NBA 2K14 (PS4)
New Super Mario Bros. U (Wii U)
Got around $135 in Target gift cards

And traded these in for my brother:
Battlefield 4 (PS4)
Killzone Shadow Falls (PS4)
Grand Theft Auto V (PS3)
Got $148 in Target gift cards.

If the values hold for some of my 3DS games, I'll be going in tomorrow to trade them in. Transaction was smooth and easy. The clerk took the games and the only questions she asked was if I was satisfied with the trade-in values as she found each game in their database. "Is $51 for Battlefield 4 okay with you?" Hell yeah it is!

Ha that never happens at gamestop. "you cool with $4 for this stack of games"?

Alright I checked the website, my local store has "Mobile" is that the mobile kiosk? It doesn't list any separate times for it.

When I went, they weren't even aware of their own promotion. I had to call a manager over and everything.

Eventually there were 3 employees huddled around discussing what they were gonna trade in once they got off shift, haha.

I forgot to ask the guy that helped me if employees were allowed to do that. Great to hear they can. He was aware of the promotion but said I was the first one to come in all day, and that was at 7pm.

Did anyone confirm if you can bring in games, that don't appear on the sales list online yet? I want to sell Psychonauts on Xbox tomorrow, but only the PS2 version shows up.

FYI, if they try to fight you on this, quickly google a picture of "[x] game case". I did this for Killzone Shadow Fall because the guy was trying to tell me he has to say there's no manual... quickly pulled up a picture of the game case's interior and he gave in. This got me an extra $8.

Did the math and I could come out of this like 60 cents richer just for PMing Wind Waker HD, using the Club Nintendo code, and trading it back in. Are the prices good today the same as tomorrow's? How often do they update? I know the values will go down, but are their updates daily, hourly, or what?

Yay, made 64 bucks for selling MGS: Twin Snakes, Pokemon Pearl, and Suikoden 3! I'm going to dig around in my closet and see what else I can sell.

Thanks. Darn, that sucks. Why would they take only the PS2 version of a game, and not other versions? It's not like they aren't taking Xbox games. This lists choices are weird.

It's all based on inventory. Either they have enough of those in stock or throughout the day people have traded the quota in. Im surprised they're even taking PS2-Xbox-GC games. They're certainly not going to sell them in-store.

Had to drive a little ways (into the adjacent county), but took advantage of this offer today. My wife accompanied me and we each did a single transaction:

Killzone: Shadow Fall (PS4)
NBA 2K14 (PS4)
Battlefield 4 (PS4)

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection (Xbox 360)
Left 4 Dead 2 (Xbox 360)
Pokémon Heart Gold (Nintendo DS)

Total: $203.79

What's most ridiculous about this whole deal is that I bought the three PS4 games at Target on launch week for under $90, and sold them back used to Target for almost $150 six months later.

Initially, the values their point-of-sale returned were the same as on the website (i.e., not tripled). I helped the associate find the promotion and activate it. Make sure the promotion is active before the associate begins adding games, because otherwise they'll have to remove them and re-add them again after activating it.

By god Me my brother and his friend literally walked out of Target making like 200 bucks a piece, Selling game cube games to a place like target in 2014 for 30 bucks a pop is insane. A few games we traded in for the price we originally paid for them. So crazy.

I can't believe I got $90 for 3 gamecube games.
Ended up with around $156 after trading in 3 other games.

One of the games had a missing manual and the guy didn't even mark it.

That sounds reasonable. I'm pretty much typing in all the games I don't care about, and hoping they appear. I'm pretty surprised at some of the games that are actually appearing, and at a good price. Like .Hack//G.U. Vol.1 being worth $15. I bought that game for like $5 lol.

At least there's some good in this.

x3. Some GC games are $30. Thats insane. Racked up $207 which I threw right at a PS4, it's worth it.

The ones I wanted to sell were around $2 each. I wanted to sell Orange Box (360), Mirror's Edge (360), and SW: Knights of the Old Republic. (original Xbox) Although KotoR bumped to $5!
