Target Triple Trade-in Value from 5/18-5/24

I was only able to get three traded. One was Tomb Raider DE, though... lol
My sister lives right next to the store but she wasn't home this afternoon.

What?
The guy I dealt with said inserts meant manuals. Shadow Fall and Ghosts never came with manuals. I told him that. He checked the other copies of Shadow Fall and saw only the same insert mine had and gave me full value.
 
So target will give me 17 dollars for battlefield 4 is this with out the triple price it should be more with triple money right
 
I just checked and i have a lot of games on that list i wouldnt mind turning into target credit. Unfortunately i was asleep and missed out on this whole shindig. I hope the values don't plummet tomorrow, ill be heading early in the morning.
 
Awesome deal...i think it "bests" the recent GS deal where if you were a Rewards member you could get 70% extra credit by 50% regular promo + 10% more coupon + 10% more if Rewards member.

If i had traded in my PS4 games Madden, Killzone, and NBA2k14...at this Target deal (rough estimate) i could of gotten about $145 Target Gift Card from trade-in

At Gamestop...i would of gotten around (rough estimate) $125 GS Gift Card from trade-in.
 
Skies of Arcadia on the GC gets $30 too. Jesus. I could go with that, double dash, twilight princess, melee, and paper mario and get $150.

What the fuck.
 
I have an old copy of Wind Waker sitting around. Might take that up along w/ South Park, which I really didn't care for.

Debating on trading in inFamous as well. About halfway through it, but I really doubt I'll ever finish it. That'd be $120 for the three. Insane.
 
I sold Titanfall, Wind Waker gamecube, and Guitar hero smash hits. Got $94 for the lot. Rebought titanfall for $40 (LOL), bought some nintendo and sony funbucks. I realized I'm never going to play the gamecube version of wind waker over the superior wii u version.
 
Well, I went in with some games to trade in and apparently all of the activity has bogged down Target's servers in my area. 15 minute drive for nothing, but I did pick up a copy of Diablo 2 battle chest for 10 bucks. Playing through Reaper of Souls has got me in the mood to finally dive into D2 for the first time in 10 years.

Will return tomorrow to trade in 3 games and get some stuff. 60 for FFX Vita and Last of Us is not bad at all.
 
some of these GameCube games you guys are trading in can be sold more online but then you don't have to deal with fees,returns,scams or bad feedback so this seems like a good alternative

I might just trade my awful scratched up copy of metal gear twin snakes

Skies of Arcadia sells for MUCH more on eBay, IIRC.

EDIT: Just did a quick search, completed listings were all in the $65 range.
 
Got GTAV, Pokemon X, Yoshis Island 3DS, Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon to trade in tomorrow.

My friends have my Mario Land 3ds and Bravery Default with them...gonna be hard to get it by the time this deal ends.

I also have Donkey Kong Country 3ds sealed...but I do want to play that. Heard it's a very good platformer.

Same here. None of mine have actual manuals, but Shadow Fall came with a PS+ insert; Ghosts came with with a PS+ insert + a CoD season Pass advertisement; Knack came with nothing.

I hope they don't try and give me a hard time. If they do, definitely gonna try and explain to them that most manuals for new games are going digital and are on the actual disc now.
 
I've so far got 242.69 for six games. I'm kind of sad as well, felt like I sold a part of my soul with them. Oh well, 242 bucks! Going to go back tomorrow for more soul selling.

plus the cardboard is better then plastic B^)
 
I can't believe some of the returns people are posting. I want to go to Target and get Wolfenstein on Tuesday since I've been sitting on a birthday gift card, but now I'm jotting down games I don't think I have a reason to go back to anymore. I may as well shoot for Wolfenstein and Transistor and maybe even Watch Dogs while I'm at it.

And PS2-GCN-Xbox era titles too? I'm about to comb through my PS2 library.

And 3 games per transaction. Whether you're limited to one transaction or more is down to the particular person you're dealing with. Funnily enough, for the second transaction, it auto-populates your personal info; almost like the system expects the same person to do more than one trade-in in a row... ;)

I have a stack of GCN games I'm taking in tomorrow (SSBM, Luigi's Mansion, Zelda Wind Waker and Twilight Princess, to name a few). And they're getting $18-$30 each after the promotion. Hopefully those values still hold until tomorrow.

That's...not how they're supposed to do it. It's one gift card per transaction. So 3 games = 1 gift card.

I have 6 gift cards now. :/

That's what I meant. One gift card per transaction. I have 3 gift cards. It would be nice to have it like best buy, but I think target is still trying to figure this shit out.
 
Gonna trade in GTAV, DSII(then wait for a sale on the pc version of DSII), and Knack which I got for free.

Potentially $133.17, according to the websites trade-in prices.
 
Oh and another fucking stupid thing: only the cell phone guy is qualified to do trade ins. No one in the electronics department knew how to do it. I was told that had I shown up half an hour later, I would've been fucked because the cell phone guy would've been gone. Jesus.

Does Target sell Amazon gift cards? If not, is there a way to get the target gift card balance onto amazon? I have $80 on my Amazon account + a potential $120 from this promo would really help me out towards getting a Wii U.

Your best bet is to look for kindle gift cards. I haven't seen them in a long time.
 
Well then, looks like I might be able to get MK8 or Watch Dogs afterall*.

*Assuming they don't do what the other stores do and immediately adjust their prices tomorrow before I get there because my nickname in the military was Murphy's Law for a reason.
 
Saw someone on CAG say that some of the prices were starting to drop but they failed to mention which ones. Anyone know if this is true?

They don't seem to sell anything related to Amazon. However, they will price match Amazon.

Not to mention that I got all or most of those on that whole buy 2 get 1 free plus 10% off at launch (or whatever that ridiculous promo we exploited then). Target loves me and I love it right back! They basically paid ME to rent those games for half a year. That's freaking beautiful.

Go to customer service and they can move it all to one Gift Card.

Not bad? Altogether that is only $10 less than retail value. And if we are going by current Amazon Prime prices and omitting tax that is a ~$10 gain. This is fuckin awesome
