So how would that work on a Wii remote? There's only three buttons on the face...? A button and 1 and 2. Then you hit the back button for the assist?
... as I'm typing that it does make sense. So the classic controller D-Pad is seen as pretty component? I might just go with that so I can play other VC games. Stick seems bit pricey.
Wiimote plus Nunchuck attached:
Nunchuck:
-Analog Stick
-C Button
-Z Button
Total: 1 for movement, 2 for attacks
Wii Remote:
-A Button
-B Button
-(-)
-(+)
-1
-2
-Digital [+] pad (Up, Down, Left, Right = 4 buttons)
Total: 8 buttons plus (-) and (+) which depending on the game are used for options or pause, just a few use it for action....with only one (B) being on the back, the rest are on the face.
Don't know in this game, but in Mortal Kombat Armageddon you used the digital pad for attacks (when connected to a nunchuck)..and made motions/gestures (while holding B) to perform specials.
