Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles |OT| Nickelodeon made a funny!

They should've used these designs of the turtles in the new live action movie. Much more teenage looking than those other brutes.

Loved the episode, but the snake form was kinda dumb, though changing forms was wicked. I have no doubt
she is going to blame the turtles
in some way.

And yeah, the
black dude with the purple mohawk
is going to be bebop. no clue who is going to be rocksteady.

rather they are the same character or not there are definitely some undeniable links

My god, what an amazing episode. I have to admit that not in a million year
i thought Karai will become mutant.
Everything was on point, the action, the plot, character development, comedy. This show has it all. I fucking love it.

"Tonight... You!" Face

I had the opposite reaction, to be honest.
The episode was really good until the last 5 minutes when they use the whole transforming ooze thing as a plot device to not have Karai join up as the unofficial 5th member of the Ninja Turtles crew
. Also I mistook Shredder as brilliant tactician and a cunning warrior, turns out he's just mentally ill.
He, himself severs the chain that holds Karai's cage, dropping her into the ooze and still he blames Splinter for it.

I'm up for the turning into Snake thing, but the Snakes-for-hands is real weird. Do they have a mind of their own?

My favourite Mutants so far are Tigerclaw and Newtralizer. Not a fan of Baxter's fly form. The designers have a weird fascination with giving characters a single Popeye-Arm (see also Dog Pound)

are Tigerclaw and Newtralizer actually mutants?

Newtralizer can't speak English on his own and requires a translator. He speaks in an alien language.

There is conflicting info about if he is a mutant newt or a member of an alien newt-like species. Either way, he seems to have much stronger ties to Dimension X than the other non-human characters introduced other than the Kraang.

Had watched the last episode. That was sad, Splinter can't catch a break.

I preordered two of the Revoltech figures, Leonardo and Mikey. I might go back and get the other two because even though I always thought Leonardo was awesome my secret favorite turtle has always been Donny. And at the point might as well as get all 4.

Anyone not familiar with Revoltech just to give a heads up I have collected all the Transformer ones released and they are freaking awesome. If you could go back to childhood and say "Here is the most perfect action figure you could imagine" your young self would shit a brick. It's shocking at first when you get the box and see they are indeed small but when you start messing with them and realize you can pose them in more positions then you can even imagine it just clicks how awesome they are. I'm excited for these being made into Revoltechs because they are characters that just scream for that kind of articulation. I just wish Mikey came with an Ice Cream Kitty.

I like the more grounded non-humant designs. Tigerclaw and Newtralizer are some of the best. The more grotesque ones like Kirby-Bat and Mutagen Man are one of the few things I dislike about the show.

Man Dog Pound kind of sucks, can't believe Mickey took him out by himself.

I wonder who the strongest character (that's not shredder or Splitter), I'm guessing a Tied between Leatherhead, Metalhead and Slash.

If you are saying stronger in "can win everyone" and not "brute force" than my list would be :

TiggerClaw, Mike with headphones and Newtralizer for me

I ove Revoltechs and FIGMAs...so anxious for these! Ice Cream Kitty would be too much awesome in one package though. :P

I need more Leatherhead episodes. Him and Mikey are great together.

Saki is one sadistic bastard. He has somehow managed to avoid blaming himself for Tang Shen's death for years, culturing a hatred for Hamato instead... and now his mutant snake slave scheme backfires and gets Karai mutated, and he again blames Splinter for his own stupid mistake.

The scene where Splinter holds Karai in his arms is reminiscent of the time he held her dying mother in his arms years before.

So is Karai a cognizant mutant, or are her snake-like tendencies going to get the best of her? I feel they made the point of showing us the snake in the cage devouring the rat for a reason. Considering what (accidently) got mixed into that mutagen, and the fact that it was being tailored to create some kind of subservient mutant army out of the turtles (and who knows who else)... seems like she'll be going back to her "enemy or friend?" state when she was first introduced.

You should add Tigerclaw to that list. They never beat him, even though they always outnumbered him.

Vengeance is Mine is, well, a simply awesome episode(and one of the season's and show's best) that thankfully got aired as the show is on break yet again sadly.

Documentary is absolutely fantastic. Plenty of footage that by all means should have been long lost.

Footage of James Avery as well prior to his passing. :/

The Turtle Power documentary has been released a bit early on Netflix.

Netflix region needs to be Canada though.

Canada only!?!?!

I want to see this :)

I thought about just buying it but... it's DVD only.... no blu-ray... sorry but I don't buy DVDs on principle. Blu-Ray or bust!

I'm the same way with the Nick cartoon actually. They only release DVDs. So I buy them on iTunes instead.

Watch it on Chrome. There is some extension called Hola I think? I just clicked the Canadian flag and it worked.

Pretty painless.

I can't believe that
Karai decided she'd fight Shredder even though she couldn't do much at all to Tigerclaw. If she can't defeat Shredder's underling, how could she ever hope to defeat him on her own? Shredder beat the crap out of all four of the Turtles ganging up on him. The skill level between Shredder/Splinter against everyone else is crazy.

I wonder how long this series will go on. I just really hope that they can have more quality episodes than filler/throwaways. When it's good, it's really good. Definitely the best version of the turtles so far. Whenever they finally end this, I'll def get a box set if they do that.

This I agree with!!!

Filler episodes are just too random in quality while the episodes that progress the show are usually pretty good to great even.

I keep forgetting how strong he is. I can of want to see the villains fight each other to know who is the strongest. I know Slash gave the turtles their biggest beating.

Anyone buying the nick show on dvd? I have them all and the newest just released and it includes a free movie ticket to see the new movie. I know some of you don't want to spend money to see it but ten bucks for some quality episodes + a movie ticket is pretty sweet.

is leorai gonna be a thing

because I would be amenable to that

But, they're practically siblings!

He used stealth in his takedowns, though. When fighting one on one he wasn't as strong. Personally I think when it comes to villains it's Shredder>Tigerclaw>Newtralizer>Slash. Though Slash probably won't show up in villainous roles anymore.

Leo mutated from contact with yoshi & the ooze... surely there is some kind of genetic transfer taking place here? How else do they pass on traits. So not only are they undeniably at least step-siblings but potentially blood related in a way.

Tigerclaw over Newtralizer? I thin I'm greatly underestimating him. Everyone seems to agree he is really powerful.

Have the Tigerclaw, Newtralizer and Slash figures been released? I NEVER find them on delivery days at my local TRU. I did manage to get an April and Spiderbytes but never anything new new. What's the deal? CT btw.

Also, the LAARP figures and Tur-fly-tle Mikey. My son loves those and they're the only alternate turtle figures I'll buy.

I got all 4 on amazon but they sell fast until supply catches up to demand.

People have found them at Wal-Mart (most common, because of the new "cube" display with tons of TMNT merch/toys that hit stores in late June), Target and I'm not sure about TRU.

Slash gave Raph a pretty good beating one on one. I wouldn't say he was weak at all.

Yeah I'm pretty sure Tiger Claw is the second strongest villain so far. All 4 turtles cant even hurt him when they jump him. Hes a beast. Newtralizer just seems above average tough.
