Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles |OT| Nickelodeon made a funny!

Every second i have seen Shredder fighting Splinter, i expected Karai to show up any time.
She did save Splinter but i expected her to show up earlier especially with the opening showing her training.

Anyone else feel the Turtle Mech was a total let down? And why was the chest area totally open, exposing the pilots and the power source to enemy fire?

Aside from my comment above, season finale was dark and awesome at the same time. Can't wait to see how they'll fight back. Totally undermanned, split apart from Leatherhead and Splinter, Karai MIA....

Is season 2 over yet. These episodes are spaced too far apart. My son and I try to keep up but it's difficult with the schedule.

I wonder if there were any subtle clues about Irma's true nature since her introduction? Because if not I feel slightly cheated :)

Was a good finale and I'm happy they put it on iTunes really fast this time.

Bummer. Time to buy the next iTunes season if I want to continue watching the way I've been doing so far.

In Pizza Face
she didn't believe the "dating with Casey" excuse because she already knew that April had "secret friends"
this and the little thing in Chinatown Ghost Story was praticaly the only ones I remember ... but mostly the secret friends part.

Yeah, those were the only big clues that came up. It isn't too unusual for someone to suspect that their freind might be hanging with other people so it didn't seem suspicious at the time, though.

I have to admit, though, Kraang sub-prime was amazing. Who knew aKraang could have so much individuality and personality.

Technically the season finale hasn't aired on television yet, so every facet about the episode should be kept under-wraps and in spoilers, right? Some of you might consider using spoiler tags (more). Or is it okay to openly talk about since it's on Nick.com?

As for
Irma... you know, it's possible Kraang Subprime based that robot on the real thing. Maybe there's a real Irma somewhere, possibly imprisoned. If she was taken prior to meeting April and becoming her friend though, it'd be pointless to reintroduce her again. Might as well just leave her as a robot.

I took that unspoiler tagged quote on the previous page out of context with some of the "dark episode" claims in this thread. Kind of had me waiting for a twisted
torture scene where someone keeps dishing pain the more someone talked/pleaded for their life
. Ah well.

Overall, I liked it. I loved Leo's
badassery at work. Maybe it was my pc hooked up to my tv sans hdmi, but the grey sky and non or flat textured cityscape didn't look all that appealing in that lighting. Anyone else hope they introduce a new villain for the series to stay fresh? I feel Shredder and his vendetta is getting old. Karai isn't his, she's turned, there's nothing for him to win/gain. Splinter or the turtles dying? Meh.

Actually i liked that. Donny is not rich and does not have all the resources yet made a competent Mech.

Well, he built a competent robot, submarine, and shellraiser with these same resources. But the toy wouldn't look that cool if you couldn't see your turtles inside of it ;P. Plus, makes for easier access with less movable/breakable parts.

It's back on and will continue right into season 3 without a break.

I stopped caring about the turtles until the Leonardo maquette leak for the new movie so yeah, I didn't watch the 03 series. Well hopefully this person is introduced with a backstory as compelling as the Splinter/Shredder/Karai dynamic.

You should watch the 03 series. That's still the best animated version of the characters, IMO.

To be fair I was like "omfg so awesome" when it happened but then it kinda ocurred me that they
just trew 1/3 of the girl cast they had in the trash
=/

Given that the Krang were looking for April since Irma's cameo in 'Mousers Attack', in the chance that they were biding their time, they had sure wasted A LOT of time doing that. Heck, they never even completed their first invasion
, and I'm guessing that Irma must have been captured sometime & a robot duplicate was put in her place.

Regardless, it would suck to lose another interesting, as well as one of the few female characters, for this show.

From what I've seen in clips and of Turles Forever, which I own, I haven't been impressed. I don't like the designs, voice acting and style so it'll be hard to nudge me from my stance of regarding this series as the best.

Loved the finale. And to make things sweeter... My Leo & Raph revoltech figures are shipping soon, I just got the payment notification and paid it off. Don and Mikey will be next month.

Geez... October 3rd is when the third season starts?

So, Smash Bros. 3DS.... Legend of Korra Season 4 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Season 3.

That should be a pretty good day.

Into Dimension X was pretty good, did like how smart Mikey was in it. Lol, I remember that episode. I need to see the finale soon.

I don't even remember that episode. These guys are pulling all the stops with the cross-series references.

I had been frustrated that new episodes had stopped it was hard to keep track of when it would be back given the only two reasons I turn on Nick are for Turtles and Korra and well the later is off the air......(is it coming back to TV for Season 4?).

Thankfully, this thread exists and I was able to finish off this season :)

Pretty strong finish I got to say. I certainly didn't expect the
Irma twist
but at the same time does that mean
her character is done
for the rest of the series? A shame since there are at east two seasons left in the show. Also the military took WAY to long to be involved and seemed somewhat ineffectual. That really makes no sense. I 'm assuming the invasion is eventually stopped and we hear reports of the fallout in the next season opening but the army/airforce should have been on the situation WAY sooner :/ I also continue to hate how empty the city is in this show (there were more people than usual but still super empty relatively). The design of the city and its populace has always been one of this show's weakspots but I understand that's kind of one of the drawbacks of the CGI approach they took.

Anyway, this show continues to be one of the bright spots of American action animation and I look forward to season 3 :)

Aw man, I was so excited to check my email to find out if mine are coming but NOPE! Hopefully soon... if I'm still even in the system (felt so long ago).

I think the Turtles need a new ally. They are sorely undermanned and overwhelmed by their enemies. Usagi Yojimbo maybe? Spike?
Very true, but overcoming the odds is part of the appeal. But yeah, for every five new enemies, they should get a new ally lol.

I hope the Triceratons make an appearance and replace the Kraang, even.

Wow, now that was a season finale. Leo cutting loose with his badassery. I mean seriously,
gauntlet style going through till just a nub of a sword left, all past season bad guys show up and "Welp lets do this shit barehanded"
Like a fucking boss. Loved the nod to Mikey and Raph comic relationship and all the throwbacks to the movie.

Well .. one of the first rumors about
Rocksteady and Beboop
(that is actualy PRETTY on point, now that you mention it)
mentions that Usagi will be on
season 3

Considering they already hinted on then ... I don't doubt... But Ciro said that they would like to focus more to end the Shredder storyline on season 3

When did Ciro say that? Do you have a link by chance?

SO I went to rewatch the 2003 episode also based on the same issue they adapted
the Leo battle
... and then searched a little bit on the net and .... some things really impressed me.

First, how ACCURATE they went with some of those panels

And second .... how ... more
VIOLENT
it is the 2012 version compared to the 2003 version !

I mean the 2003 version is more dramatic and all ... but it still don't have
a single decent sword atack !

That the creators of this 2012 show managed still impresses me to this day !

It's from the season finale that Nick put on their website early. It's also on iTunes. I thought we were still using spoiler tags until the episode airs on Nick?

Fair enoght ... was guessing that without context it would not mean much ... but edited my post.

Dominican, can you please edit my quote ?

Clips of the next episode which includes our first taste of Seth Green as Leonardo, who is the new permanent voice for the character.

(second video clip. the first one is from the Season 2 finale)

I am really glad they are airing this episode next because it fits in really well with Halloween.

Oh and...

I wish they made him 'cooler' and less of a dork with poop on his head... I hope he doesn't end up being essentially The Pulverizer or Pigeon Pete 2.0...

It's not that I feel every mutant needs to be a total badass, but come on! What a cool creature to have as a mutant and they seem to be throwing it away, at least in terms of design. Oh well.

Napoleon Dynamite Bonafrog is a Bronie ! xD

I liked Seth Green voice ... it is just ... a little bit TOO diferent.

...turtle puberty is weird =P

Just watched the finale, stellar stuff.

Did anyone else catch the bonkers
Earth Defense Force
reference/ sequence starting with
Kraang Prime
?

There's is called the
