Probably more than they'd be able to raise. And that's if Fox even gives the okay to this.

Hate to be a Debbie Downer but this seems more like a "Hey, wouldn't it be neat" idea rather than something that has a realistic shot of happening.

I don't think money will be a problem if they don't half-ass the KS. Fox would probably be the biggest obstacle.

A two hour TV movie would probably cost like 4-5 million bucks to produce. Only two other Kickstarter projects ever surpassed that amount.

As much as I loved the ending, this would be freaking excellent to see happen.

I think it's feasible too. I don't think the show was ever terribly expensive to make, and KS can raise a lot. I've seen comic stuff with goals of something like 40k make 150k.

Finally watched through this show on Netflix over the past couple weeks after having heard lots of great things about it. Really enjoyed it. Smart writing, fantastic performances all-around, and wonderful characters, the kind you really get attached to. That ending was perfect. Shame FX canned this. :-/

Now it's got me checking out other one-season wonders...

(Sorry if someone saw this bump and expected some news. Just wanted to post my thoughts; hopefully someone else will check it out upon seeing this thread)
