My Comcast Internet over here in Seattle is fine if not a bit expensive. I don't think I've ever had the service go down since I connected it in early 2010.
I hate me some banks, though! No one should be using a big bank. Find a local credit union if you can. So much better.

Ya know, I really haven't had that many problems with comcast, the only interruption I have had is when some asshole in my building unplugged my internet.(seriously, anyone looking for a place in SF, stay the fuck away from Laramar SF Urban, shitty shitty shitty company)
And yeah, myspace? really? how the fuck is that even relevant with G+ ramping up and Facebook growing more and more unpopular due to all of their privacy bullshit.

Couldn't agree more with LIPA. My power has gone out several times in the past couple of months with no rhyme or reason. A couple of weeks ago we were having brown outs. I felt like I was in a third world nation. It's gotten so bad that my neighborhood started to pass around a petition.
No Verizon. Thank you based FiOS. Though Verizon certainly isn't perfect (especially with TV packages), but their internet has been top notch.tycoonheart said:

I don't really understand the privacy concerns complaints with Facebook and Myspace. It's not like they are some banking service and you HAVE to give them that information. Everything disclosed on there is voluntary...

Is there a good alternative to Time Warner Cable in West Los Angeles? I've long though about cancelling but my area unfortunately doesn't have Verizon FIOS..

Seriously though, Verizon Wireless (mobile) sucks. At least their customer service is the worst customer service that I have ever dealt with. It was so bad that I would rather deal with crappier wireless/phone service than have to deal with their crappy customer service...
Bank of America needs to be higher up that list. We were one those "foreclosure horror stories" that thankfully worked out in our favor. We talked to DOZENS of people in the company and all of them either forwarded us to someone else or gave us a different answer every time. Absolutely horrible company.
As for people wanting Apple on that list, lol please. Apple haters need to realize that most people who buy Apple products are satisfied with their purchases and the support Apple gives. So just because you prefer something else that you can "root" doesn't mean their customers are unhappy. I would probably never buy a Mac (I build my own PCs) but I love their iOS stuff. And when I had a problem with my iPad, their customer service was fantastic and sent me a new one right away.

Cablevision should be up there but it probably isn't big enough to get as much hate. I should switch to Verizon. Facebook is deserved should be higher imo, started as a hook up site and in such a negative way, even though it is much more than that now still hate it even though I have a page.

Also, surprised BoA being so low. I had a run in with them years ago. They routinely would not send out my credit card statement (happened 4 times in about about a year). Two times I was on top of it...called in and got my balance and paid it. One time it slipped my mind and I didn't realize I forgot to pay it until the next month. They would not budge on removing the $39 late fee. Claimed that they were not responsible for lost mail. 2 months later my statement got "lost in the mail" again. I transferred the balance and closed the account after that. I'm convinced they were not sending out statements on purpose.
