This is not a surprise. Everyone on tennis forums predicted a potential upset tonight. Berdych always plays like it's life or death against Federer and he was arguably playing the best going into the Quater-Finals behind Djokovic. This is one of my worse days in tennis.

First, Delpo kills Roddick's run, his last hoorah at US Open. I like Roddick. He hasn't played at his best level the last few years, but I always enjoyed watching him try to break out of his element and come to the net and volley, like he did in some recent matches. He's a really entertaining guy.

Then that mental midget Cilic disgusts me by choking away an almost two set lead. Not to take anything away from Murray, he's mentally very tough and Cilic just crumbled after Murray got his shit together. But the prospect of Cilic, of all people, knocking Murray out of the tournament was so titillating... Major disappointment #2.

Now Fed playing like absolute garbage. Berdych is playing great, once again, but Fed is making him look like a tennis God out there. Excuse me while I retch.
