The absolute BEST case for your DS Lite

This case is pretty damn good and it has done away with the cock ring. Take off the 'purse' strap and you're good to go! Hori FTW!

Nobody likes these cases? I thought they were nice.

Forgive the double the post.

It's OK but you can't stock DS/GBA games or anything, so why do you need a case then?
Edit: yeah admit it, yust throw your DSLite in a bag, it's a clamshell design it won't die or anything :)

Btw, what does the Hard Puch look like underneath? Any straps or stuff like that? Hope not, I hate those things :/

Hm, interesting about the ebay fakes of the Keys Factory case. I suspected they weren't legit. Glad I didn't fall for it.

My Smart Case arrived from Lik-Sang yesterday:

Best looking case I've seen IMO is easily the Keys Factory 3D Mesh Cover. I've got the original version for the DS Phat and have been using it for my Lite and it's been a treat. The system feels safe and secure despite the systems smaller size and there's room in the front pocket to store a couple of games. Might jump on the white DS Lite cover when I've got some spare cash.

I've got the Hori Multi-Pouch and I love it. It's tiny, feels pretty sturdy [I've dropped it a few times] has a nice soft inside to pamper the Lite and a second zip pouch with slots for games, a wipe, a stylus, and also fits those cool plastic three game holders, you know the ones...

Anyway, great case.

You can squeeze up to two games in each of the three pockets.
Plus there is a larger pocket behind the 3 main pockets that can hold up to a dozen games.

Plus if you are really worried about game storage, there is this option:

Playasia do a combo deal that includes the hard pouch AND The leather card case.
Do you have a link to th combo deal? I only can find the 2 sold seperate

These nifty storage pods from Keys Factory hold 2 DS game cards and are small enough to slip into a pocket. They come in white and black. I have 2 of each color. They are kind of similar to a Zippo lighter in size and functionality (sans the lighter and fuel, of course). You flip the spring-loaded top open and store the game cards inside.

They are the coolest game storage cases I have ever used.

I just use an altoids case. :-p

Some pictures of the KeysFactory 3D Mesh case for the DS Lite for those of you that requested them. Webcam shots will have to do for now until I get a real digital camera, but I've tried to include shots that weren't available at renchi.

I've had the case for about a month and have no complaints. It's got a sharp looking design, a velvety interior, and has excellent build quality. Protection-wise it's as good as any other soft case out there. I keep my games seperately; so the front pocket is holding the wifi adapter, two styluses (stylii?), and a cleaning cloth.

Your case has a large growth

;)

cheers masumo, thanks! Looks very good, but indeed too thick :) I'd rather add some games in the side pocket instead of an adapter. Does it have pockets inside, guess not?

if you just put games in the front pocket (there are no other pockets) you would be able to get rid of about 1/3 of the thickness in my picture. my picture might actually be a little misleading. when i took some time to position everything better inside afterwards, the bulk wasn't so appearant.

I don't normally revive old threads, but does anyone have any recent recommendations? I've been looking for a case that can hold games and a DS Lite.

That's nice, I'd like something like that that just held the DS.

I have a few cases, but like this one the best:

It's called 'Bag Of Elegance' :lol - It's pretty firm, holds it's shape, uses a magnetic strip, and comes in quite a few designs, I liked this one - I wanted something a bit more 'adult' and non-teenage boy like. It comes with a gaudy gold stylus, but I use a dragon quest slime one any way. :D

I just toss my DS in my pocket. The clamshell is the only screen protection I use.

I used to use empty Tic Tac cases for game storage...but now I just have 2 DS cases that I gutted and stack with ~10 games each.

The games are small enough to fit just about anywhere and are fairly resilient.

I'm buying this:

VNICA001600_05_L.jpg

This seems to be exactly what I've been looking for. I got it for $20 shipped from here.

Got this in the mail the other day. I love it. The build quality seems really good, the inner material actually removes the horrible finger prints on my black DS, and the outer pouch can fit 3-4 games comfortably.

Renchi.com was actually out of white but they had black so I still picked it up. They even upped my shipping for free because of it. Would buy again.

Oddly enough, I use an official GBA (original, not SP) case. I can't find it online anywhere but there are two compartments. In the main compartment for the GBA (flap velcro closure) I store the DSLite and theres a tiny mesh net liner in there, holds a dozen games easy because of the extra room from the DSLite being smaller than a GBA. The second compartment, originally for GBA games, has a zipper closure, and it fits my AC charger perfectly. Sorry no pics, I doubt they sell them anymore anyway.

What's with you people and your tiny cases?

518HZjuyVCL._SS400_.jpg

Nakiworld G-Pak. Sturdy yet soft. Holds 30 DS and 6 GBA games, plus extra room for your charger and a couple other accessories.

Edit: Oh, thread necromancy. That might explain it.

Guess im the only one that just thows my DS into pocket even if my car keys are in the same pocket, game carts go into my cash wallet.

I do the same. Typically only use the game that's in the DS, don't need to lug a handful of them around.

I got a FF III DS case-cover that came with the game i think.

I googled it but can't find the cover though.

Here it is:

I have this too but haven't really used it since I'm still playing on the phat which doesn't really fit in there. I think eventually I'll get a DSi though, so hopefully those fit in there nicely.
