Check out the opening moment of The Anacrusis: a four player co-op first-person shooter in the style of Left 4 Dead, coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this month.

The Anacrusis will release to early access on January 13. As well as arriving on the likes of Steam and the Epic Games Store, the futuristic shooter will also be available to players subscribed to Xbox Game Pass, meaning that if you've signed up to the service you'll be able to play the game at no additional cost.

For a L4D style game and how wide the areas are in those videos i feel like there should be at least like 2 times the number of enemies on screen compared to what there showing.

While The Anacrusis makes a charming first impression, the uninspired nature of almost every other part of it creates a low ceiling for the overall experience.

just played it on gamepass, it feels like a 5 dollar steam game jim sterling bitches about. the movement and shooting feel disgusting. hard pass.
