How do I mute people on the PS3 version? I usually don't mind people talking, but everyone now and then I need to mute an idiot and haven't found out how to yet. Last game I played one idiot was just playing music (horrible music).

As little as I score, and don't help the team, ect, I just love to snipe people all day long. Usually can use my Guadalcanal boat trick for a few minuets before the other team finally gets me, and then ALL of their snipers are in the boat :lol :lol :lol

I just left two games because of idiots online. It's driving me nuts, is there a way to just " mute all" on PS3? Or someone invite me to games

I have a feeling it won't be released until next wednesday (7/22) at the earliest but I hope I'm wrong.

Doubt it, say it was finished as soon as they thought of the idea. Smart marketing ploy and way to encourage people to keep playing.

Exactly. It either unlocks itself or a switch is flipped on DICE's end. I don't know what people are talking about. It's not DLC.

Didn't say there wouldn't be, and I'd be willing to buy more, but for the only one for the foreseeable future, I kinda wish it was a normal styled one as I'm just not that big on the air combat.

This is actually the only game I've ever wanted DLC for. I've never purchased an ounce of it yet, and have never felt compelled to.

This game has a cool release model I wouldn't mind seeing more of in the future.

The melee in this game is clunky as shit. I would give anything for it to be mapped to my Right stick. Too many lost kills because of that reflex.

Other then that I am having a blast with this.

The poll on the 1943 site (whats your favorite '42 map) also gives me hope, especially since they did something similar for at least one DLC map in Bad Company (which they gave away free to boot!).

It has been finished since the start of June. Reason why the game size went from 350MB to 550 MB.

Yeah, I can't get real excited for an airplane map, considering I've used the planes like three times. And with this rumor that they may not release additional maps as DLC... how long can the three normal maps keep people interested?

At the start of every match you are placed in a squad. From that point onward they are the only people in the match that you can communicate with. You do, however, have the option to invite other members to your squad.

Now granted I'm basing this info off of Bad Company, but I believe the squad system in 1943 is almost identical.

I hope they add in the other fronts from 1942, I loved the Eastern front maps actually. Though from the looks of it they will cut out the unique weapons of each faction and just have reskinned items. Was kinda wierded out when I was on the Japanese side at first and was using a M1.

Yeah, but they'd have to do it as a map pack so they don't fracture the community too much by releasing individual maps as DLC.

I'm not familiar with any of the other Battlefield games but a map with just two large castles would be pretty cool.

From the start menu you can manage it.
You can enter, leave or invite someone to a squad, but you cannot choose to which squad to join.

That's just a minor glitch. Your stats haven't actually reset.

I swear 360 owners are nocturnal :lol The 360 count seems to continually rise at a consistent speed whereas the PS3 definitely has its peak and then slow times. Damn son!

The ratio has been growing in favor of the 360 but really slowly. I think that has a lot more to do with the DICE resolving the server issues than anything else.
