you expect a ww2 plane to control like a warhawk?TacticalFox88 said:IF this game had Airplane controls like Warhawk, I'd be on this about 24/7. Otherwise. *thumbs down*
It's down for me on PS3. I wanted to jump into a game last night, and a message popped up saying "not available". It's been like that for me for a while because I tried to jump into a match just before the BC2 beta and it was the same thing. Anybody have an idea what's going on?SoulPlaya said:Is this down for anyone else on Live?

Aesius said:My favorite thing to do now is just sit on the carrier on Iwo Jima in an AA gun and snipe the island. I can usually get 10-12 kills from taking down planes and countersniping. There's nothing more satisfying than killing someone whose head is about 4 pixels in diameter."
Karl-Magnus Troedsson, Executive Producer for the Battlefield series, has told OXM that premium DLC for Battlefield 1943 is in the works.

We asked Troedsson about the possibility of a sequel to last year's Xbox Live Arcade hit, Battlefield 1943.
"We will see more of those in the future? We'll see," he replies. "As a franchise, we're going to focus on the near future but that doesn't exclude that we can do more of these smaller products in the near future.
"However, there's one important piece to this puzzle, and that's that we need to take care of our products post-launch. We haven't released any premium DLC for 1943, for instance, which feels like a natural step to take."

I think when they realized that they would be too late to get the DLC out near launch they waited until Battlefield hype was rising again due to Bad Company 2.Diablohead said:So they decided after all to make some DLC for this... bit late imo.

This. I played the hell out of BF1943 for weeks after it came out. Hopefully its free DLC. If not, I probably won't redownload BF1943.PoweredBySoy said:I'm not surprised they're working on DLC, it sold great and it's the perfect platform for DLC - what surprises me is they're so god damn late with it.
