[Snowman Prophet of Doom]

Several of the greats - 2001, Paths of Glory, L'Eclisse, City Lights, A Clockwork Orange - have been mentioned, but for my money, there's nothing quite like the ending of Aguirre: The Wrath of God.

Titanic's ending is pretty much perfect, bringing multiple themes together visually; couldn't find a shot with the pan over the photos, but that adds to it a great deal. The final pan up to the dome - the 4th in the film, all important - is hugely powerful to me.

Hmm...tough. I think Saving Private Ryan's ending was quite moving and wrapped things up nicely.

-EDIT- Also 28 Weeks Later ended quite impressively even if it was just a cliffhanger.
