Rock and Roll Racing

The fan made MotoRock is a pretty great remake. But Blizzard did send them a C&D order. uses an original game engine too.


The fan art is OK, but could have been better. The menu fonts look like ass. The game engine is really well made, and the vehicle physics are very RC car like. Overall the Rock 'N Roll Racing fanbase did a better job remaking the game than Blizzard could. I love the careless use of licensed music. Devs knew they were going to get a take down and said 'fuck it' with the soundtrack. Steals the Huffman voice from the game.

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Still playable via PSN, but could use some QoL improvements (i. e. bestiary accessible from pause menu and no time consuming page turning effects) and a bit of a map redesign. More warp points at the very least would be nice.

The Darkness probably needs it the most given the only good way to play it is probably via Xbox back compat. Infamous 1-2 would be nice, but at least RPCS3 is making performance improvements.

Need for Speed black box era games not getting remasters is just EA not liking money I guess, but at least the PC mod community make those games look like remasters already.

Not the best games but i would kill for an infamous remaster collection at 4k60.

Well, it's not a remaster, but the game does run at 4k/60fps with HDR on Series X.
The original game had widescreen support on OG Xbox, so it renders properly, including the text and menus. Only the minimap and crosshairs are improperly stretched.

And apparently Xbox has no exclusive games .

I dont have a series x, but Mercenaries and ultimate destruction? I'm gonna get one soon

The only games which require a remaster would be games which are still stuck on PS3 at this point.
All the rest are playable on PC and consoles as they are so I'd vastly prefer the developers to not spend their money on fixing what's not broken.
