Not surprising after having followed the sales but Splatoon has had insane legs to be outselling some of those games in this year alone.

I'm really interested to see how FFXV, Persona 5, WoFF, TLG, Gravity Rush 2, GT Sport, Yakuza 6 and the other big Japanese PS4 games (I know some of those are cross-gen and aren't that big...) sell this fall and how much it helps hardware sales. I'm guessing Pokemon Sun + Moon will be the top seller of the year.

Talk about a overreaction. All the big console games are hitting in the 2nd half this year, like everywhere else.
Look at the numbers. Just a few years back, anything with sales below 300,000 was considered a bomb. It's saddening to watch the industry decline year on year.

Hopefully NX props things back up.
