The chances of Alien: Isolation 2, Evil Within 2, and Dying Light 2 at E3 2017?

I would say Evil Within is probably a lock. Dying Light has a decent shot and Alien: Isolation has almost no chance of garnering a sequel.
 
Is Mikami still working at Tango? I havent heard anything from that guy since The Evil Within and was worried he had left the industry.
 
Alien Isolation 2 is proooobably at 0% or not much above. If Evil Within 2 is Mikami's next game then I imagine there's a somewhat realistic but not guaranteed chance it could be revealed this E3.

Not sure what is going on with the Dying Light franchise or devs so noooo idea.
 
Alien Isolation 2: sorry, but I don't think we're getting another.

Dying Light 2: it'll probably be at E3 2018 IMO. Don't forget The Following was a very substantial expansion and only came out 15 months ago.

The Evil Within 2: I expect it to be there along with Wolfenstein 2.
 
I wouldn't be so sure about TEW2. I remember that last year there were many rumors that the game would be at E3 and nothing happened. Dying Light 2 is probably happening but it has low chances of being at E3 this year.

If this is real then it is very likely that we are going to see TEW2 at E3.

Let's hope so. TEW is one of my favorite games of all time but only if you include the DLC. I still don't understand why they never released a complete edition in one package. The DLC answered many questions (but not all) and as a content it was great.
 
I'll take a chance and say that Sega surprises everyone when Fox let's a couple Alien Covenant xenomorphs out to introduce fans to Aliens: Isolation. :)

Last year was too soon. Big games rarely take under three years these days. The timing would make more sense for it to appear this year.

I'm pretty sure y'all are remembering the first Dying Light when they canceled the last gen versions due to lack of power.

That's so weird, especially after seeing what Horizon or even Zelda can do on respectively the OG PS4 and Switch.
But next-gen isn't that far away, if they start now, it should be done around the start of next gen (probably 2019). And even then, why limit yourself to such a small userbase (high end pc market + start of a console generation).
 
Well Bethesda said they'd only hold another E3 presser if they had a sufficient amount of stuff to show. And I doubt new stuff a la Quake, Fallout 4 VR, Elder Scrolls Online would prove sufficient. Wolfenstein (which isn't a guarantee) could be part of a bigger focus, yet what else would they have that would give reason for them to be there, hence why I think a sequel to Evil Within is the more likely sequel to show up.

No they said a while back that the ideas they have in mind for Dying Light 2 and are prototyping may be too much for current consoles to run it

That said I still think we will get it this gen but I don't know if it'll be at this E3 or not. I think it may be an end of generation type game so late 2018 - 2019
 
Alien Isolation 2 isn't happening because console team of Creative Assembly just released Halo Wars 2 in February and they are probably working on a DLC for that game.

and although the main designers of game left Creative Assembly but lots of staffs are still there including director.

Game sold nearly 1 million on steam by now (Steamspy). I think its safe to assume it sold 2/5 million across all other platforms (PS3/PS4/X360/Xone). Overall I think 3.5 million is not that bad if happened.

So it can happen(I hope) but not this year .
 
Evil Within I would say is highly likely

Alien Isolation 2 is not being made at all

Dying Light 2 is a strong maybe, though I imagine the team might do something else parkour zombie related.
 
If they released Alien: Isolation 2 in VR, I could quit gaming forever for there would be no more kingdoms left to conquer.
 
I also would like to see Dino Crisis get a reboot if we're shooting in the dark for survival horror. Even if say XBOX secures the rights to it.

Nintendo shouldn't even touch horror when they have an IP in Eternal Darkness that at the very least deserves a remaster on the Switch.

I'd rather see another The Thing game before either tbh. OR fuck it, Aliens vs Predator vs The Thing. But I don't think the rights would even shake out for that.
 
I've always wondered if the problem with making a sequel to Alien Isolation came from making it close to Aliens. Making it the Aliens of Alien Isolation i'm sure would've been a daunting task.
 
Please no Evil Within 2. The first was a great game, but Mikami and his team should make a new action game like God Hand or Vanquish. A survival horror game like RE4 isnt as interesting anymore like it used to be.

They'd prolly turn The Thing into some stupid ass survival online slasher game like F13th :/

The Thing on PS2 was actually not bad, and Gamestop even gave away free DVDs with it. Was my first exposure to the movie. Good guy Gamestop.

Eh, survival horror has plenty of life left in it as a genre, The Evil Within is just not a good survival horror game. I agree that Mikami should go back to making full action games, as RE4 and Vanquish are his best work as a director.
 
If Evil Within 2 happens they need to do better voice acting and animation, that was my biggest issue with the game, the rest was lit, I was scared throughout.

Also, dont do that fucking widescreen bullshit.
 
I'm not sure their announcements plans but I saw stuff from TEW2 awhile ago so that's the one I would bet on (tho I'm not making any bets haha!)

The Evil Within actually set the world record for best selling new horror ip (though Dying Light in less than two months would dethrone it). However, TEW certainly didn't do badly and looks like it may have sold 1.5-3 million at this point (though numbers may vary. All that's 100% known is it sold over half a million on PC alone.)

Also the team said ages ago TEW was never to be a single game, but the first game in a franchise and they'd make a sequel of given the ability too.
 
It's funny how everyone wants a sequel to Alien Isolation but thanks to Sega probably not being satisfied with the sales figures and IGN slating it on release it's never going to happen.

At least we'll get another CoD and BF though huh!

If there ever by some bizarro chance an Alien Isolation sequel, keep in mind that a LOT of the team that made it are no longer there. I fear that without them, it would be half-assed in comparison to the first. It doesn't deserve that, so unless we get that team back I'd vote no on a sequel.

The Evil Within 2 - 100%
Dying Light 2 - 0%
 
Dying Light 2 is basically confirmed to be in development but I'm unsure of the timing. I'd say maybe.

The Evil Within 2 I think is highly likely to be there this year.

Alien Isolation 2 will never happen.

Give it a few years and just like clockwork both of these sites will have articles praising isolation and asking the question....why did we never get a sequel to alien isolation?

100% day one for evil within 2, that had so much potential.
