Most of the PS3 screens shown here are from the ingame functionality, others are from sources like DF(I think the GOW one).coopolon said:Do all of you have capture cards and you're playing your console games through it? How are you taking in game screen shots?

coopolon said:Wow, I didn't know so many PS3 games had in game screenshot abilities. I know Resistance 1 did, didn't know any others did.
What is DF? I googled DF and screenshots, and got nothing.

Amazing! Halo 3 has some of the best color contrasts this gen IMHO. Beautiful.Loxley said:

Chittagong said:I would propose the following additions to the OP.
1. Only direct feed screen grabs or frame buffer shots
2. Post screenshots in their native resolution.
2. This means no "publisher assets" with extra AA, extra resolution or non-game angles
This would be great because it's increasingly hard to find real screenshots these days - everyone uses simply the publisher provided ones which all at the very minimum feature tons of extra AA.
Dead Man Typing said:I would like to participate, what's a good capture card these days? I used to use a Dazzle USB capture device that worked fine for SD content, but it couldn't handle a PAL60 signal, so everything I recorded had to be in 50hz.
I'd invest in something like that if anyone knows of a similar device that can handle PAL60 and even better if it supported HD inputs like component or HDMI cables. The reason for USB is purely convenience, for I am lazy and very flexible on that requirement.
Wow. Love that!! Love the color!fernoca said:
I maintain that that game is one of the best looking of this generation. I really hope that Rare haven't been relegated to a Natal shovelware studio.fernoca said:Amazing Banjo screenshots
