The Crew Beta codes has been sent, post here your impressions

The development team really needs to dial back the enemy racer AI for the chase missions. One slight mistake and there's really no chance of catching up. Game should be fun not annoyingly taxing.

The handling is sluggish and makes the car feel really heavy and sloppy when trying to take a corner. Very floaty but also stuck at the same time.

not close at all here is me on the Beach South Beach Miami https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0JVii6BTqU&list=UU7CDBg7SuuKMMLpSIsMMnAQ

I like South Beach Miami but all the cities in game cut corners missing lots of detail sure things are renamed but there is a lot missing I wish this was not USA because all the cities I have visited and walked downtowns in are very poorly done in this game

the world is huge but I would loved a game this huge focused on just 5 cities with higher detail

Also, having owned a 370Z for a number of years...the game's engine audio is downright atrocious and sounds like some generic mobile game you can buy for .99. Absolutely dreadful noises.

ouch, well there are many reasons this game is not even trying to please car fans at all not even sure what Ubisoft was thinking

most car fans love a game to at least treat their favorite cars with some respect even if it is not a Sim Racer

When is this over? Had this downloaded since last Thursday but haven't had a chance to play it until now, where it's telling me 'The Crew services are unavailable or you have lost your connection.'.

1-aliasing
2-A car with wood, why ubi ?
3-Hexagon Steering wheel

The exploring aspect of this game seems interesting but doesn't seem like it will be varied enough to keep me playing longer than a week. The story is atrocious and left me wanting to skip EVERY cut scene and ignore the story missions. Only reason to play them is by being forced to, to progress unlocks. PASS

Will def not be picking this up new. Possibly bargain bin @ $20

As always with all ubisoft games

Great Idea, Poor Execution

This was one of the very few betas that actually turned me off from the game. I loved the idea of an open world US, and driving through a bunch of major cities all with no loading times is great, but pretty much everything else turned me off.

I HATED the handling, and this is coming from someone who enjoys games like Need for Speed. I never felt like I was truly in control of my car. I constantly kept swerving, and making tight turns was near impossible for me. I get that its an arcade racer and not supposed to be sim-like in any way, but damn they could have made the handling a bit more stable for each car.

Same here , i'm doing beta since god know when on various devices but it's the first time i get out of a game and delete everything so fast. No loading time is cool, exploring the cities is cool , but as an idea.. everything works so poorly .. I'm actually surprised i 've driven for 55km ...i couldn't even force myself to check another city , the driving model just doesn't work.

How long did you play? I thought the handling was ok once you upgraded the car a bit.

I actually played the beta a fair bit -- enough to finish all of the story missions available (yikes) and upgrade to a GT-R. My feedback is similar to everyone else: the game looks terrible (but I would be tolerant of the last-gen look of the game if the IQ and framerate were there) and the handling is awful, although upgrades and control changes make the steering less bad. Why even have control settings like that in a console game, though? I can understand it in a PC game or for wheel support but it strikes me like even the developers don't know how the cars should feel. The scope of the map is pretty unreal (and with a map about a million times more interesting than Fuel's), and I'm surprised at the effort put into the layout for some of the skill challenges (in that there was any at all, heh).

If they're going to add one thing, they should add a mission editor. Just create your own races, events and challenges that in friend's games or randomly show up in other player's games... there is a lot of map to work with.

Weirdly, I could kind of see myself playing this, even though it's a typical Ubisoft open world "watch numbers go up" game, but now with cars!... but given my current backlog, or the thought of paying full freight for this? Nope.

Last beta before launch, from the 25th to the 28th of November and it is open beta...everyone on the PS4 can try it,it will be interesting to see if they can pull it off,I mean Drive Club still cant...
