Those pics make him look better to me if anything, everything just comes together so well - and I hated the look before these pics.

And it's rare that a costume looks right without the movie lighting and effects of the movie itself.

Because
Dent stands for all the good things in Gotham, which Batman and Gordon are trying to preserve. He was the White Knight. Bane will have none of that.
 
I'm sure everyone on set is hating Nolan for choosing to do winter/snow scenes in the middle of July in Pittsburgh. Hardy is probably losing weight by the second in the coat. :lol
 
Banes mask looks fitting in a series of movies where a dude wears a burlap sack on his face and some other dude wears makeup and dyes his hair green.
 
He does look really badass. When Joker's photos were out, people were have preconceived assumptions about how Ledger would act. And they got something unexpected. Mask haters should expect the unexpected once more, this time.

And it seems he's got height increasing boots on. He could now very well tower over bats. Or at least be on par with him.
 
There's no point in spoilering the bridesmaids, there was an actual wedding across the street. They even let the bride and groom take photos with the tumbler.

Is someone keeping track of all the bane haters, so when it comes out and everyone is "OMG bane was so awesome!!11!!" we can dish out the crow? It's Nolan, of course Bane will be badass.
 
Almost all the costumes in this series have looked iffy in set shots. I have no worries.
 
The mask isn't very good, but I'm willing to give it a chance to work in the context of the film.

Coat though, bad fucking ass. I'm glad he isn't walking around naked/in spandex all day.

If he is going to to that, i feel that JGL and Coltiard being robin and batgirl is much more likely than being made up characters.

In Pittsburgh, it's like they're just letting people get within a decent distance and film with their phones. Yeah, there were a lot. I remember someone got an image of Aaron Eckhart in his two face costume back when it happened.

But again, we may be seeing a lot, but we have no context.
 
Isn't Bane some superhuman muscular dude? That dude in those pics has to be a stand-in for CGI or something. Put that coat on me and I'd be a better fit for the role. /smh
 
I haven't read any of the spoilered text in the recent pages as to avoid any more leaked info, so this may have already been discussed...

These pics really seem to support the
"Bane is what Ra's wanted Bruce to be"
theory.
He's got the Tumbler, he has military looking equipment, etc...
Basically it looks like this movie is going to be
Batman vs. Batman
.... And that's kind of awesome.

yeah, totally.
Though I originally thought (like, three years ago) that the third Batman movie would introduce a pro-level vigilante that could rival batman. The Reaper, Nightwing, or Bane were who I thought would fill that role.

Don't know if it will be Bane acting as a vigilante, or just someone comparable to Batman using his skills to fight Batman full stop.

whatever the case, these new pictures are so confusing.
 
Not gonna lie, I dont mind living in Pittsburgh right now. =D

So my cousin got cast as a Mercenary, has been doing rehearsals and will be filming tomorrow. He was on the set today, but at a slightly different local down the road. Description of scene-

He, and other mercenaries wearing thrown together military looking clothing are taking on the police and batman, and winning. He gets a lot of hand to hand action before getting to use his knife. They went over different combos for him to perform today. In the scene he is fighting a cop while Batman is taking on some other mercenaries next to him.

Ill try to get more details as the arise. Wish I didn't have work today and tomorrow, but at least I will get some work with the movie in the near future.

Nope, but he speculates Bane hired them to break prisoners out. They have been tight on details. He knows he has more scenes after this but has zero info on what.
