I've told myself a million times to stay out of this thread, but every time I see it bumped I must... =( I haven't been spoiled yet but I know I'm gonna get burned if I don't stay away. I don't think I can withstand a full blackout though so I'll probably watch the trailers whenever they come out.

Trust me, stay away from all the news on the filming of this movie if you don't wanna be spoiled. I was watching them shoot the other day and saw a MAJOR SPOILER. It was so bad I think it ruined an entire big twist that happens in the movie.

I am all signed up for the stadium shoot this weekend. Going to be pretty crazy. I am not sure if I will be able to give an update on what happens there though. I am sure they will be having everyone sign non-disclosure papers when you arrive.

Thankfully the trailer will be a collection of random shots that reveal no plot points.

I am trying to do the same but whenever I see this thread on the front page I must click.

It's not what we do that....fuck I don't remember any quotes from the nolan movies. They talk so damn much during those films.
"I seek the means to fight off temptation. To avoid spoilers when I pray for answers."

Yeah, that sucked, but the original line was terrible too.

A vigilante is just a man lost in the scramble for his own gratification. He can destroyed or ignored. But if you make yourself more than just a man, if you devote yourself to an ideal..and if they can't stop you..You become something else entirely.

Tangerine, Mr. Wayne. Tangerine..

I lol cause I remember something stupidly similar, Death Note (of all movies) and BB have similar things, when Light/Bruce go into the bar or whatever and confront the crime boss/criminal then leave cause they can't do anything lololololol.

How odd.

people said this about the dark knight

People said the same thing about The Dark Knight and they were right. Two Face shouldn't have even been in the film and the entire third act suffers from too much going on at one time and not enough running time to resolve it all in. It's why we got the awful boat scene.

Three years later and people still believe this?

Absolutely. Don't pretend that the third act of the film didn't plummet partially due to Harvey Dent's turn into Two Face. They should have either saved that character for the third movie or simply had Dent be a minor character in The Dark Knight.

cause dark knight is generally agreed as spider man 3 quality

dent was relatively minor all things considered

it's why it worked for me. i don't think two face could hold a movie as the primary villain

Dent is the emotional arc of the film. Without him, it's just a game of cops-and-robbers between Batman and the Joker. Without Two-Face, Dent's arc has no ending and no relevance. Saving Two-Face for a separate movie still weakens the impact his story is supposed to have, and also doesn't exactly set-up for a compelling third movie anyway (Two-Face is not a main villain type of character, he doesn't present any kind of threat that would require two hours of story).

I have no problem with Dent's turn to Two-Face or how it's worked into the third act. People think Two-Face should be a completely separate character from Dent, but the two are one-in-the-same. The rise and fall of Harvey Dent is the definitive Dent story, and Two-Face is just the third act of that plot.

My argument is that Two Face shouldn't have been in the script period. If that meant removing Dent then so be it.

ThisWreckage I can't say I agree with you. Harvey's arc created that amazing ending. Gordon's monologue, Batman on the run, driving the batpod into the floolights with Zimmer's crescendoing Batman theme and then "The Dark Knight". Ohhh, goosebumps, so good.

And plummet partially? Does that mean it plummeted or dipped? I'll agree on dipped, but then goosebumps.

So filming was pretty low key today. They shot some more of the riot scene outside this morning with Bane vs Batman. After that, they shot indoors, in which Anne Hathaway was involved. Finally they finished outside with
the cops winning and taking the mercenaries hostage while cheering. A smoke bomb explosion goes off and the cops cheer more.

Ill have pics and vids uploaded soon, but Im sure better ones will be out there.
