A friend of a friend worked a few days on set. It's only a few pounds though. When I go visit my friend in Sept I will ask her.

My friend is an IP lawyer in Hollywood. She knows a lot of people.

Yeah, whoever said Bale is bulkier than his build in Batman Begins is wrong. He is slightly bulkier than his TDK build though.

In any case, Bane's gonna devour him

Not at all. People loved the title. A small part of the bank robbery scene was released, very well received. Bank robbery masks looked great, batsuit nice. Only question was Joker w some bad production stills. Him in motion put everyone to rest though.
 
Ok I just had my omg moment, totally thought that the guy playing Bane was Brendan Fehr for some weird reason, after seeing the shots i thought 'oh wow that's the kid from roswell'.

Now I realize even more oddly, that it's the guy from Inception!? Shit, his build has changed. I think it'll look good on camera, tshirts don't show bulk too well.

Bale's doesn't seem as 'fat' as he did in Beings, but either way it won't matter in motion as the bat or bruce, it'll be handled. Also, has Nolan had any experience with Hathaway before?
 
She looks hot. I can see how people might find her annoying with her sense of humor or laugh but still baffled as to how some people find her "ugly".
 
I remember lurking here two years ago, and GAF had some sort of crazy hate for Bale. I am glad you have all come around to appreciate his quirkyness. He really is a fine actor. I think we have yet to see his best work.

yeah it pisses me off when amazing actors continue to work with amazing directors

how fucking dare they? how dare they make great movies together? GRRRRRR

It will probably come back when the movie comes out, is critically and GAF-ly well received, but then the eventual backlash starts about how its overrated, Nolan is overrated, and how Bale can't act.
