I guess it will look great and all but I still am not a fan of Hathaway.. she's just not "woman" enough to be catwoman, imo. Also doesn't give off that 'badass sexy' vibe.

I dunno, maybe it's just me. Nice mask integration with tech though, if it works out on-screen. Also looks like they're having fun on-set.

The heel is not the big problem since almost all Catwoman always wear some kind of a heel shoes. I mean, sure, it's laughable considering Nolan's idea of Batman is where everything is super-realistic. And now he expect us to accept a Catwoman who wears a high heel. There goes the realism!

But no, the real problem is the fact that Hathaway just doesn't possess that look which says she's Catwoman. That tough-as-nail attitude, the simmering anger within, and even just a slight suggestion of athleticism and build to perform the most basic self-defense skill. She possesses none of those. That compounded with the awfully designed costume, which look like an imitation of a cheap TV costume from the 60s, and you just get a character that is not believable especially when compared to the one in the comic.
 
She doesn't look like the character I perceived in the version of this movie that exists only within my own mind. This sucks!
 
Catwoman looks like all live-action superheros look in set pictures. Really stupid. That doesn't mean to say the suit won't work on screen.
 
Batman looks dumber to be honest.
Are we even paying attention here? The guy is wearing plastic bat ears. Shit is worse than any number of heels anyone could wear.

Pretty much. It's ridiculous. That skintight leather outfit serves absolutely no purpose whatsoever other than to make her look hot. Heels are even more ridiculous. Boots at least? Ah fuck it. Nolan lost his mind lol

She doesn't look athletic. That's not to say she looks bad, but definitely not someone out there riding a motorcycle of that size and being catwoman fit.

nolan makes 2 brilliant movies --> people doubt nolan

people just need to see the finished product. Even batman looks silly as fuck in these pics. Post production it will be a different world.
 
Her weave looks like a mess in the candids. Not a literal jumbled mess, just simply an inappropriate mess. It's too straight.

I'm sure it'll look fine in the movie though.


That, and the suit isn't that hot either, but Princess Hathaway is fierce so all will be fine.
 
Hathaway looks like a freaking vampire in some of these shots.

Really don't see the appeal of her physically. Don't like the costume either.

Will wait for film to judge the character itself.
 
Catwoman looks as ridiculous as some dude dressing up as a bat, a dude that looks like a clown, a dude that wears a potato sack on his head and another dude who wears some weird wrestling mask and Liberace style jacket.
 
I just really want Bale to cameo in all kinds of network comedies, in the batsuit in the background, laughing at a random joke every now and then.

Well, I'd say all those characters were believable at least. Is it entirely about her costume, or is it more to do with the wider context of the character?

Perhaps it's not so much the suit she is wearing, but what that suggests. It's a "hot" chick with big breasts and a nice arse, wearing tight fitting leather and riding a motorbike. Is she going to be kicking shit out of men 3 times her size? Anne Hathaway? Who, let's face it, is quite delicate physically. If it ends up being that kind of character, you would have to suspend your disbelief to a degree. It becomes a different movie then. More comic book as opposed to gritty, and realistic.

Maybe Nolan can make her a believable character.

Talking about strong female roles in action movies, I think Sigourney Weaver in Alien(s) has yet to be topped. Now that is a character that is believable to me.

I know, I know. I'm arguing against an impeccable record here. But that catwoman costume doesn't gel with me. In Nolan we trust, but c'mon. Gotta agree that those heels are lame.
 
I just wonder where she got her suit and the fancy goggles. Maybe she's a rich millionaire who has access to the same sort of resources as Batman?
