Stealth release... Downloading it.
Probably a combination of not enough sleep and being in giddy E3 mode, but I laughed way too hard at this.hey, at least is has realistic driving environments
It's time to accept DriveClub as the spiritual successor to PGR. As far as I know, many of the people who made PGR what it was, are now working on it anyway.
http://www.cultofmac.com/43040/get-a-u-s-itunes-account-anywhere-in-the-world-how-to/any way to get this in the US?
So what was the title that aegies and that Tiburon (or whatever his name was) all but confirmed was PGR? Is it possible that we could just be getting a PGR but without Lucid's involvement, given all the Codies guys at Rare?
I'm not saying it's possible or even the best outcome (I'd be stunned if MS would consider commissioning a PGR game without Lucid) but I guess it's still kinda likely.
But that's not passionate speculation mixed with anticipation anymore... that's just... I dunno.
Try feeling them simultaneously. Not joyous, not for a second.Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance all in one post.
I *am* still hopeful, though. Too much stuff pointing directly too things that aren't covered by that iOS title.
When I say I'm hopeful... it's not that, it's just that I'm not conclusively writing the whole thing off yet.
Well, we're basing a lot off the whole "Road opens in 2013" teaser on Lucid's site, which was proven to be for 2K Driving (which was indeed released in May, just like their tweet about having exciting news mid-May). If we take that out of the equation, we still have all the other "evidence" (pure speculation lolz) but without the confinement of a release date. So we may not see any kind of an announcement for months if MS have decided to alternate it with FM and release it next year.Yup. Give it till tomorrow.
If not then then they may announce it at Gamescom in August?
Am I the only one who's starting to wonder how threads like this are still being tolerated? Is every game announced for iOS going to get a thread of people screaming no and laughing?
Mods? What are these threads contributing?
This is people upset that it's not PGR. I love iOS gaming.Am I the only one who's starting to wonder how threads like this are still being tolerated? Is every game announced for iOS going to get a thread of people screaming no and laughing?

Did you read the first post and jump to post a reply? I'm pretty sure the other replies would've had you covered here.Am I the only one who's starting to wonder how threads like this are still being tolerated? I don't know how much money they'll make... given it's F2P, does the publisher give them a sackload of money, say "make this" then said pub (in this case, 2K) gets all the profit? On that note, I wonder if there are any financial figures on Real Racing 3, which 2KD seems to borrow from VERY heavily in that aspect.Good for them, hopefully they'll make good money on a well done ios game. Bad for me, I wanted it to be PGR pretty bad.
See my first reply in this post.I never get the iOS hate here. It's a viable gaming platform.
Blame AAA gaming for being an unsustainable clusterfuck for small devs.

It isn't. It really, really isn't.Honestly, I'm more curious to try 2K racing, it might actually turn out really awesome. Maybe an Android port with a controller could be really good.
I feel like I am going to get a lot of use out of this gif over the next 3 days.
This isn't one of those threads, though.
The thread is like this because there were a lot of us hoping/wishing/assuming Lucid were working on a new PGR for 360/One.
So this is more the stark realisation that maybe they haven't been working on a new PGR.
Don't fret, you can always play DriveClub.
Uh, oh :\ Is it that only two people from BC work there now? In important roles, or...?I honestly don't know for sure, I just remember someone making a fairly big deal about it in one of threads. No one tell him.
