Dolph Lundgren reveals he will Fight Stallone once again!
When Sly Stallone's action flick THE EXPENDABLES first started coming together, his ROCKY IV opponent Dolph Lundgren was mentioned as part of the ensemble, but his name slowly slipped down the list as more meat was thrown on the pile.
But Dolph is apparently still very much involved. And while early rumors claimed he'd be pitting his martial mass against diminutive wu shu whirlwind Jet Li in the movie, it sounds like he's also having a rematch with Rocky after a quarter-century.
As Lundgren tells Wizard, his character is "a mercenary who's part of Sly's team. He's kind of a victim of the violence. He ends up getting fired by Stallone. Later in the picture, some other sinister character trying to get back at Sly and his and people hires me to take him out. Because I need the money, I do it. There's a showdown between me, him and Jet Li."
As for why Dolph didn't get a call for Rocky's recent resurgence in ROCKY BALBOA? "Not sure," he says. "Drago is probably still stuck in Siberia for losing that first fight."
Gunnar Jensen: "I must break you, Barney"
Barney: "GUUUUUNNNNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR"

Ugh... certain quotes of images and dialogues gave away the spoiler... Thanks alot! I'll just get along and read it while it's ruined...
Oh good thing this was upped. So I went down to the unit they're shooting the drug lord's mansion (I suppose that's what it is) but couldn't take any pictures. Talked to a couple set builders and helpers, their schedule was to shoot there until yesterday and head back to Magaratiba (where we saw those running Stallone pier shots) to shoot some more sequences. Things were quiet though, they're working mostly at night on that location and there wasn't anything particularly impressive as it's a historic building and not much can be changed.
The only cool thing I saw was the fake trees they're gonna use to shoot bullets at and capture it on camera and the little stuff here and there they've changed to the halls and rooms.
I also got word (no idea how reliable) that Arnold's cameo will be shot in the US in the next couple weeks or so. Has that been confirmed yet?
I had to leave because the van with Jason was to arrive soon and me and my friends were sorta rushed out.
