No, you're fine. Secret ending is the wrong phrase. Bonus scene is more accurate. Even with knowledge from the original Kingdom Hearts, you couldn't possibly make out story details from the bonus stuff. Same thing for the bonus scene that was in the original.

Lol at FFVIII opening being called badass. It's like people mentioning it were 12 or something. Because all you see there is arguably the most ridiculous dressed characters ever (sorry I stopped playing FFs at IX; I don't know if they have broken this stupid record... although watching trailers for FFXIII VS, they just might...) fighting with the most retarded weapons ever (TEH HUGE GUN-SWORD!) with some text that makes no sense whatsoever and some other random shit. The saddest part is that then you'll know that the fight was just some kiddies fighting at school. It is a greatly made video, but it is not badass by any means.

I'll agree with the mentions of Super Metroid, Mechwarrior 2and Full Throttle; but my favorite is Super Metroid; and I consider part of the opening the escape scene.

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis has the best opening ever. it's fucking genius. it's interactive and serves as a tutorial of sorts. indy doesn't have his inventory yet, there's no scumm system, you just interact with the environment. every time indy falls to a new screen, some more credits play. this is all while the indiana jones music is playing. nothing compares to its greatness.
