Yea, what was she thinking?
I mean, just showing a single bit of Smash would have some double jump action in it, right?
She was under the impression the Nintendo event 'didn't count'. And I don't blame her - tecnically not a press conference.
But still, if Microsoft is showing their Platnium games thing - that's gotta have a double jump. Or an indie platformer at any show. Double jumps are a stone cold lock.
Edit : Since everyone else is...
1. "How many games will Nintendo show with the word 'Mario' in it?"
Four. Mario Kart DLC will be brought up. Mario Maker (or some other eShop game) exists. New Mario sport titles for WiiU, and a new Mario & Luigi on 3DS.
2. "Will Resident Evil 7 be announced?"
Yes. I'll go one furhter and say it's at Microsoft's show, timed exclusive.
3. "Will the word 'Shenmue' be said at any press conference?"
HAHAHA, NO. Unless Adam Boyes or some other asshole has seen this video, and wants to fuck with Bosman.
4. "How many sequels will be announced at the Sony press conference?"
Five. LittleBigPlanet 3, Killzone : More Killzone, God of War 4 (tease), and two indie teases. Theorically one could count Uncharted 4, since we still don't officially know what the game is (prequel? reboot? rebootquel? kart racing game?)
5. "How many minutes of Halo 5 will be shown?"
If we're talking trailers, then 10 minutes. 6 minutes of gameplay, about 4 of trailer.
6. "Across all press conferences, how many times will the words 'experience' be said?"
I'm assuming each presser will have it brought up a minimum of 4 times, giving a low end bet of 20. 24 seems like the safer number.
7. "Will Valve announce a game at E3?"
Depends. Left 4 Dead 3 seems possible - but I could just as easily see them popping out to say DOTA 2 or some bullshit is on PS4.
8. "Will Uncharted show up as a playable demo (on stage)?"
Nope. One trailer. Minimal cinematics. Name, and "2015".
9. "Will a double jump be shown during a press conference (including Nintendo direct)?"
YES. In fact, I'd say we see one in three different conferences. Nintendo, Ubisoft (new Rayman or other platformer), and one of the indie showcases at Sony/Microsoft.
10. "Will GTA5 for generation 8 consoles be announced?"
Yes. Timed exclusive to one of the consoles. DLC for V also timed as well. Vague Red Dead teaser.
11. "How many new IP's will be announced during Microsoft's Press conference?"
Four. Platinum thing, original Microsoft dealie, two new indies from known names.
12. "Which character will win the Smash Bros. tournament?"
Considering the draft format, this is a real gamble. I'm going for the safe bet & call Fox (every player there is going to have at least SOME experience with that one, whose moveset has been least altered). But man, Wii FIt Trainer could be comically OP.
13. "Will a new Dino Crisis be announced as an exclusive title?"
Nah. People like startin' crazy rumors, and nothing's crazier than a Dino Crisis reboot.
14. "Will Majora's Mask appear?"
Yes. Considering this could be as vague as "the Majora's Mask item shows up in a Smash Trailer" - it's a lock. But as for a 3DS remake, that's also pretty likely.
15. "Is 'Project Beast' an actual PS4 exclusive?"
Yes. I'm less sold on it being a Sony darling, but the game clearly exists.
16. "Will Link speak in Nintendo's physical event?"
Hmm. I'll say no. Miyamoto's said that this Zelda will be unlike any other - but I don't have faith they'll add in any sort of cinematic element.
17. "The Last Guardian at E3. New Trailer?"
No. But it'll be in a hype reel alongside Beyond Good & Evil 2 & Half-Life 3 in my dreams.
18. "E3 will change Damiani's mind about Metal Gear Solid V?"
Probably not. It'll appear at a conference, but nothing genuinely earth-shattering.
