Favorite movie of all time for me.arts&crafts said:1. The Life Aquatic obviously

I used to think the same thing too, but then I watched it Red Rocks. Red Rocks is a large outdoor Amphitheatre in Colorado, and during the summer they show older movies with a band for $10 (awesome thing to do on Tuesday nights). Portions of the crowd will sometimes dress up as people from the movie, and with Big Lebowski the largest portion I have ever seen dressed up. It was awesome seeing a bunch of people walking around with carpets, sunglasses, and bath robes. Basically, what I am saying is the memorable moments in the movie are very strong, and they are strong enough to drive a lot of people dress up like the dude and probably forgive some of the flaws within the movie.Speevy said:I wish people would stop freaking out over The Big Lebowski. It's unique, entertaining, and has its share of memorable moments, but it's not even close to being a great film.

Can anyone help me remember a line from Life Aquatic by the way?
I think it was something like this from Bill Murray " I'm unpredictable, I dont know what comes next."

Skiptastic said::O GTFO.
It's a movie starring Weird Al Yankovic and Michael Richards that has a lot of film parodies, based on the premise of Weird Al's uncle getting a local UHF station in a poker game and he needs someone to run it. Weird Al, who gets fired from his work due to daydreaming about movie parodies, gets the job and hires Michael Richards as a janitor, who was fired from the big network station. Michael Richards happens in front of the camera and is instantly popular, leading to the UHF station starting to grow and compete with the local network station. Weird Al uses his daydreaming to create interesting TV shows (aka funny 1 minute clips of parodies) and they become the number one station in town, but due to some sort of plot device, the station could be bought up by the owner of the big network station. Thanks to some other plot devices, they come close, fail then somehow pull it off and everyone celebrates except for the big shot network.
Yes, that synopsis sucks, but the movie is amazing.

Animal House probably has the best ending of any movie ever. :lol Such a great movie. And I would have to say the first Mr. Bean movie. The whole movie was so funny and Bean was so outrageously weird but I could see someone like him existing. :lolJdFoX187 said:Animal House

and now /thread
Wow, I saw that in theaters and it was the first and only movie I was about to walk out of. I'm sorry but I thought it was just terrible, I didn't laugh at all. Judging from your avatar you seem to be a fan though. I guess it's just a matter of taste.ant1532 said:Favorite movie of all time for me.But I was trying just to pick a movie soloing in the comedy genre. Life Aquatic is really much more than just that.

Was huge one for me, I can not count how many times I watched it or how many times one of my friends drop on of the many killer lines from it.
snaildog said:'Kenny' - a fairly recent Aussie movie about a porterloo guy, which sadly most of you will never see. It's done in the Office/documentary style, and just hilarious and touching from start to finish. Better than Monty Python or Jim Carey #34 or Ben Stiller #98 or any other movies I've seen mentioned here.
Thats what I came in here to post.ant1532 said:Dumb and Dumber. I swear this movie doesn't get old after so many watches!! Jim Carrey's and Jeff Daniels' facial expressions are on another level.
nah, too "American" would be the right word, I guess. It was funny, but it felt like a diferent Mr Bean, and less funnier than the tv show.psycho_snake said:*Bean Movie*
Absolutely hilarious and horribly nerve wrecking too.
Exactly, the show is utterly brilliant, but the movie totally fails to capture the essence of Mr. Bean imo. I even refuse to watch the second movie.Prime crotch said:nah, too "American" would be the right word, I guess. It was funny, but it didn't felt in line with the great and funnier tv show.
